I miss nightmares stage with the ruins and giant castle in the background- i kinda laugh at the fact they are slicing each other up with swords whilst not a drop of blood is spilt the whole time- especially the "KO knockout" at the end of each fight.. Umm no its not boxing, you would have mostly likely cut their head off lol-
@thescarfacenr no, actually the arcade version had blocky textures, and the dreamcast version at the time was lauded for largely improving on the visuals and sound in those departments
@MInuhanyouM I read that Namco analyzed Dreamcast's hardware for more than 6 months before converting the game to Dreamcast. They did such a good job for being a game released in the first year of the console, god knows what would've been acomplished if Dreamcast got to be on the market at least 3 more years.
Yep. But sometimes, using double things for more power doesn't work well. An example is the Saturn, with its two CPUs. They were VERY hard to program for, and had few advantages (one advantage was fighting games, as each CPU could control a character, thus having bigger movesets and detailed models). Perhaps that's why the Saturn had so many fighting games?
But as much as all of us would like to see SEGA come back, you and I know that Sony would do everything in their power to crush them, and keep them down once again.
It's sad, but that's the reality.
As long as SEGA keep making games, I'm happy. That's the important thing.

I'd love to have a Dreamcast just for this game. I would have liked a ps2 version as well (I know many would shoot at me just because I wrote that)

@MajorasWrath97 Wow. I catch alot of comments that say ' dreamcast rules' Whats the bit? 32? And when did it get made?
Glennfalconi 1 year ago
It was the first 128 bit console. It achieved this by using two 64 bit processors.
MajorasWrath97 1 year ago
@MajorasWrath97 Haha that's a smart move. It's a 'Twin turbo' console.

@ExtremeBogom I have a feeling Nintendo would be more of a threat. That company led to decreased sales of the other consoles this generation.

It's not a conversion, it's the original :)
But there are definitely better graphics possible on dreamcast - remember that this was a launch title.
