@CanijAsa Let me explain a little bit more because you clearly dont get it.

Its not a top speed contest. HP/KG doesnt count as much as cornering speed. This circuit is relativly slow compared to some others. Lighter R34 wins because it has better cornering speed, breaking effectivness. Not because of power. That is why R35 is too heavy for this circuit. And 1sec is huge difference here. R35 should hav around 1sec advantige because gearbox, if the cars would be equal. They clearly are not.

@CanijAsa btw. you calculated it wrong. R34 is a 630/1350=0,46hp/kg= 460hp per ton.

R35 is a 0,345hp/kg = 345hp per ton. Thats big difference indeed. But taking notice that R35 gearbox is much faster and engine is a lot more responsive and less laggy because of litre/turbo size ratio, then for circuit the difference is not so big.

BTW. Im also having a hobby track car (look at my vid) 700php, 1540kg. Enough hp/kg for any circuit. Working on weight loss now.

R35 - Safe high speed cruising, really good track performance. Luxurious

R34 - Ultimate response, great traction and grip(which also applies for the R35), Track monster. Mean and fast!

Honestly if I have to choose between these two machines, Id take the Mine's R34 anyday (but the Street Version of it)

First handicap are the RPM couse power "jumps" up from 7000 to up.....and onces they said you need 150hp to match 100Kg handicap...I think we saw it here

@stepxunit i take it you know of the nurburgring norschleife circut/test track,the standard enzo ferrari 660hp/1365kg supercar lapped in 7m25.21secs.......a standard r35gtr 530hp/1736kg 4 seater lapped in 7m24.22secs....130hp and 370kg diference as well as price,you dont need to modify an r35 to beat a ferrari.....i do love the ferrari v12 sound though....

i remember when Tsuchiya and Orido reviewed mine's uitimate R34 back in the days they were shocked at how fast the rpm climbed and subsequently thought it was too a car to drive (it induces fear instead of excitement ). search youtube "Amuse Supra Vs Mine's Skyline R34"

It was funny because the two drift kings were both scared by that R34.

@golferchin76 For some reason the Mines in the video you're talking about seems so much faster than the current Mines R34s we have been seeing. But maybe it's just that the cockpit noise was louder and the gear ratios were tuned to be short for that particular track. But who knows.

i personally wouldn't call the r35 " too heavy " per say, as it is one of the most well balanced and best performing super cars ( a super car for sure imo ) of the 21st century its just that... the mines R34 is a master piece.

if i ever win the lottery i will try to convince mine's to build me that exact r34 !!

@liveguns srry to burst your bubble but mines parts used on his r34 cannot be used as they are illegal in the streets making to fast and dangerous plus it will be epically useless to buy it just to try it out on the streets due to the fact its made for speed and we have speed limits and this car is made to break it but if y ou could find a place to use it as an amateur driver like in car shows or closed racing track yea dont bring it to CA its considered illegal here they'll impound it nd fine u
