nice work Simon. I am useing the 847 also . nice rig ! Antennas are a pair of egg beaters with an Icom AG-35 mast mounted preamp . LMR -400 coax. I use satscape to locate the birds.

Very interesting antenna. I've just this evening managed to work my 1st Satellite contact via V052 using a FT-726R and 17ele Create LPDA. It was the antics of yourself and Phil (M1PAC) that convinced me to have ago. Maybe work you soon as we're not too far from each other.
