There has been quite a lot of accidents on this road over the years. Safety wise it is pretty much the same as any of the dozens of the UK's mountain passes eg Wry-nose, Buttertubs, Llanberis. They are all innocent looking roads but if the conditions are wrong or someone isn't concentrating then an accident will happen

That sounds nasty - where abouts on the hope did you come a cropper then? I was fortunate as it was a dry day and adhesion was very good, otherwise I would have been crawling along.

Nah the stock steering wheel was also a 3 spoke but a tad larger. The wheel you see here is manufactued by MOMO. Thanks!

Looks like a really fun area to drive. I love watching the little blue tree float sideways. Is that the stock steering wheel?
