I think people are so critical of their bodies because we are so used to seeing those images. If the images of our bodies were kept the same, i think our society would probably accept something like someone's belly a little bit out or someone who is not perfectly thin. Plus one thing I have noticed is that there is a lot of woman that may have bigger hips but a smaller up half. You never see it on tv,its like it doesn't exist when actually it is very common.

@jammuff -- What you mean pluckign eyebrows or shaving legs/under arms? Well, you can't just go totally hog wild with not altering anything at all. There is such a thing as GROOMING yourself. Our men cut their hair short, shave their beards off, etc. Women removing hair is much the same.  Just grooming, as I said. You have to learn tot ell the difference between regular grooming, and self mutilation.

Your body is great! I don't know you, but I'm sure I am correct! First, what makes an attractive body? That concept is malleable and has changed in time and in different cultures. Second, women are overly critical of themselves. Probably because of a minority of loud-mouthed men making stupid comments. But most of us (men) think the female form is very pleasing in all of its manifestations.

"sin" is just a made up concept that people in power use to con others into confusing the actions the elite don't like with "evil".

Everyone is born with a sense of good and evil. The concept of "sin" plays on this but is entirely defined by those who wish to control others.

Homosexuality doesn't by default propagate an influx of new members, and therefore it is considered "sin" only because for a religion to thrive it must continually make babies to indoctrinate as convert rates are limited.

I really liked a lot of what you said in this video and I feel empowered and reassured by your message. But I have a serious disagreement with one of the things you said: that homosexuality is a Satanic temptation. Being gay is just something you have and you can't get rid of it, and fighting against it makes you hate your body and yourself. I know because I fought it for so long and hated myself, but when i accept it as fact I finally started feeling good about myself and my body.
