  • please could you tell me what inverter do you recommend? I am about to get a 170W panel but hopefully in the future i will get a second one. thanks, great video

  • @sergiogsx79 Thanks.I think the brand is 'power jack'.There all over Ebay fairly cheap & just plug into a regular power outlet. I have,a 300w 12volt,& a 600w 24 volt. They seem to be ok,just dont run them at there rated wattage.I only ever put 2/3 or less of their rated watts through em. So for ur panel i would suggest a 300watt,but because you want to add a panel,u have the option of 2x300w inverters,or just get one 600w inverter(if u want to put all your eggs in one basket). i hope that helped

  • @djpaulk found them on ebay !! thank you so much! I was so excited to see what I could do with me new solar panel, but right now I am facing a possible truth. I've read that it might be illigal to pump electricity into the grid in Spain?!?! I also read that its fake that a power meter will go backwards when pumping electricity as you do, that normally power meters have a system to avoid it going backwards. ..next message

  • @djpaulk So I dont know what to do. At least I would like to know if I can build your setup and pump those 180W to the grid and as I am always using more that 500W at home, then just use them so the power meter goes a bit slower. do you think this is possible? Thanks for your answer and once again, great video !

  • @sergiogsx79 Yes,thats pretty much what i do, it does only slow the meter while power is being used.I turned every power consuming device off in my house, including the fridge, before i took this vid,for a demo. But while im out at work and everything is off,its happy days :) Nothing FAKE about it. I sometimes make mistakes, but i do not lie..Believe me,it works!!!! spose it may depend on your meter type?i dont know about digital meters, but works on these.. Thanks again and check my other vids

  • Awesome demo there

    Thanks for the video.

I love to get hold of one of those clock dial Email meters as I collect old kWh meters

  • That's a facinating demonstration. I didn't realize hair dryers used that much energy.

  • @tsx1561 Yeah,i just went and read the label on the hair dryer says; 1700-1800 watts.Thats about as much as a small electric heater :o
