  • Whats the song at the end of this video?

  • as far as the girl mentioned at 5 - if you weren't there or somewhere similar you might not get the excitement in the air. It was a big deal. she' isn't wacky, she was just on camera, and excited.

  • So many anarchists are more reactionary than thoughtful. They point to injustice as an excuse to destroy things. Its ironic too becuase in trying to bring about change in society they make themselves hypocrites by using violence and destruction to achieve their ends.

  • Read How Nonviolence Protects The State by Peter Gederloos.

  • Recommending a book isn't an argument. It doesn't show you have any facts that bear on the issue at hand yourself.

The State by the way, protects you against violence. You should thank it.

  • When has it protected me against violence?

Why do you assume people would be violent in its absence?

  • Comment removed

  • That's really just common sense.

  • The comment I deleted was a generalization, so I'll be more specific here.

It protects you from criminals that would continue to commit crimes if they were not caught. Often they willingly admit that after they have been. So that's one way the state protects you.

Also the law applies to those who do not intend to re-offend, and that is for moral reasons more than preventing immediate harm.

  • The crimes of the people are not as dangerous as the crime of the state...

btw in an anarchosyndicalistic society, there would be less crime, becaus everyone would get what he deserves...

  • If the state uses violence to protect us how are they? There is crime because there is law, because people are poor and addicted to the drugs they sell to feed their families.

  • I don't know what that book is about because you didn't summarize it at all, but look at non-violent resistance - that definitely worked. Violence isn't always the best alternative but when people are so angry and oppressed it's easy to resort to violence.

  • I don't know what you're saying with the above comment.

Whether or not the state has an army is a separate issue from whether or a society needs law.

  • no, what I was saying is defense of the anarchists. If the state has an army, than people fighting against the state have the right to formulate their own army. Many people are against the violence anarchists perform thinking it is hypocritical. I might agree with that but I understand why they resort to violence. Therefore, the anarchists are allowed to have their own army too.

  • i realize i just stepped into a veritable hornet's nest but I just wanted to see what would happen. enjoy any conversation that arises.

  • I would hope radicalism amounts to more then simply "fucking enough shit up"

  • @DeraJa

Me too, but I would also hope that radicalism amounts to fucking a lot of shit up.

  • maybe im ignorant buttt. how do big corporations tell me what to do?

  • Do you ever watch TV?

  • not much.

  • The Big Picture is that 1% of the worlds Population Owns 95% of all the Money<< If all the Money in the World was distributed Equally every1 would have a good life. Their should not be Rich and Poor People<< Every1 should have the same chance 2 a good life. Not just a couple of Elite families<<

  • first off...maybe your idea of a "good life" shouldn't have material wealth at its center.

but given that money is a real issue for most people do you not think that if everyone is equal and there is no opportunity to become a member of the elite there is nothing to aspire to?

  • Distributing worthless paper money equally isn't going to do anything, nor would it even be possible. If you're looking for an egalitarian/anarchist world, I suggest you find a better way to achieve it.

  • this girl talkin from 5:00 to 6:00 is a fanatic, man. I'm an anarchist but she makes us sound like zombie cult members.

  • It was the battle for Seattle man, I would've got hyped up to with so much shit going around me and im usually a chill out dude.

  • I'm pretty sure that is Priya "WarCry" Reddy. She is awesome, but yeah, she gets off on riots.

  • @GuyaRicanMC what are you talking about? she's just excited and understandably so

  • @GuyaRicanMC at least she is doing more than posting comments on youtube.

  • @GuyaRicanMC If you think that she's a radical then you are a faux anarchist at best.

  • Hurry up and load the next one!!!!
