no by just the voice and im sure i heard somewhere when all the actors where cast they had to be able to sing, this was true certainly for the early seasons but im not sure about when Jake joined though.

This episode is the one that sealed this show in my heart. I was nine years old when I wanted to be on this show so bad. I loved the diverse races and characters. All they needed was some "think folks and I would have been in heaven" I glad when I was a kid, the kid shows were kid friendly. Apparently they did a cast only copy, and some low quality mp3's were given to the official fan site. They're out there somewhere still, I know I found all of them.

Well, there was an album for the first season, and all the rest of the songs, in full edits, were released on CD as a gift to the cast and crew, but not for sale. Although eventually they were donated, in low quality, to a website. I have all of them.

That's good, I guess. Considering that most actors never make it into the bigtime and that the young ones who enjoyed a taste of stardom tend to fall the most dramatically once their 15 minutes are up, it's nice to see one who was able to find success in the real world.
