I'm a drummer. All I can say is you can find many people with videos of this song on guitar. Many are excellent attempts at the original. Watch their hands. That's how I learn drums.

yeah its called a whammy pedal, and he plays 2 notes, a root and an octave of it, and when he pushes the pedal, it goes up 2 octaves on both of the notes. it sounds badass.

See, the key to a great song is simplicity, Pantera knows that so they basically put together some simple lyrics, vocals, drumming, guitar and wham, another great song. Instead of putting all these wacky, uncoordinated sounds and lyrics together, just do what Pantera did here, be simple and make a great song with a head banging, fist pumping rythme.
