@94landcruiser80 Hey sorry for the late response... but if you still want to know, I bought a Diablosport Predator tuning device (plugs into a slot below the steering wheel where they read diagnostic codes etc.) and you can turn off the AFM. It also allows you to fine tune your engine a bit. I don't know much about engines, so that proves that the Predator is idiot-proof too. Haha! Hope that helps.
@MudLite26 actually, with the combo of this exhaust, my cold air intake and a Diablosport programmer I saw little or no gas mileage decrease. In fact, when it was all dialed in properly I found my mileage might be better when I turned off the "Active Fuel Management"...
This is the mid level - I guess thats the t-304 XP series. Might be that its louder when you're behind it? I feel like this one is louder in the cab because the pipes aren't facing straight back so the sound is projected more towards the cab... if that makes sense.
It can drone a bit in the cab when its cruising around 80-100km/hr. But it might be because it is a dual system that turns out to the sides... I have the DoD system, but I bought a tuner and turned it off because it sounded like shit when it kicked down to V4 - but your truck wouldn't have that problem.
how can you deactivate the cylinder drop out (active fuel management)? nice truck though good sound

seems like the straight back exit that i have is a tad louder. is that the t-409 stainless steel kit or the t-304?

thats the perfect sound man. do you think it would sound good on 2500hd with the 6.0?

Thanks! Hard to say, the engines will sound different, and all the exhaust systems are different too... but I am really happy with it.
