The 7 cushion shot is, in fact, part of a 9 cushion shot to land the cueball on a $100 bill!!! I once saw Paul Gerni (who is seen in this video) on TV play the shot on a snooker table. In this tournament, it would've been used as a tie-breaker - closest to the $100 bill wins.
