Ok, fair enough. I agree Joint. Throwing rocks at cops is dumb. But I'm still not too impressed with either party: the cops were equipped in riot gear... so why not armed with rubber bullets or tear gas? Shit's been around for a while. I mean... someone has to be responsible for making sure unnecessary force isn't used (whether DESERVED or not).

lol, that guy had done nothing wrong. on the same place, only few moments earlier, the cops fired live rounds into a fleeing mass of ppl, wounding two persons, one of them a journalist. besides, the stone had already left his hand when they shot, i.e not self defence

The police fired several shots before the shot in the video was fired, and this stupid hooligan continued to throw bricks. Just before the shots one policeman had lost his helmet, got struck in the head by a brick, and was lying motionless on the ground. His fellow policemen then opened fire, at first warning shots but eventually they fired some shots in anger.
