I know there are better voices in the music industry but Diana had and still has a way of interpreting a song in a way that no one else can. And thats really the key to being the star that she is. Its not all about "the voice". In my opinion, if you wanna remain on top for as long as she has, you gotta be able to connect to the common person. Say what you want about her, but she's figured out how to do that for the better part of 50 years. I love her because no one sounds like her.

Diana Ross has been the same caramel color since her birth. Camera stock, lighting, etc., can all change the visible shade of someone's skin.

See the clip where she sings "I Know I'm Losing You" with The Supremes & Temptations. Her skin is caramel-colored. Her skin is dark brown in "GIT", which was filmed AFTER the "IKILY" clip.

sorry MJ had VITILIGO which make yu lose you skin pigmentation so Mj did not go white on purpose. She look lighter in winter I get lighter brown in winter. But some time people change as they get older I know i have . I was darker when I was younger.

@love17717...You right, my mum and I do get lighter brown during winter as well and my dad, brother and sisters who are all born very light skins get even more lighter during winter and sometime people do think they are mix-race...so I don't get why people keep fussing about this race colour thing and some people do get darker or lighter when they older and some stay the same...so for me a darker or lighter Diana she is still very BEAUTIFUL

@love17717...I'm from Africa and don't think that all Africans are very dark they way the media love to show on TV...there's so many different complexion you'll find like the dark and very dark skins, the brown, lighter brown, caramel skins and the light and very light skins, especially in central Africa from where I'm from and it's natural, even if some of the women are lightning there skins but most of the African women love the way they have been created....

Now.. this looks more like her true skin tone. This is the Diana that I remember from back in the day. I still have a problem with those who say she has never bleached or altered her skin tone in some sort of way. She is much lighter today then she use to be. I initially remember seeing the change in her video "why do fools fall in love". I remember it because it almost appeared as if she was luminating in the same manner as MJ skin tone did.
