Looks like Chun is actually good in this game.  Capcom made her terrible in Marvel vs Capcom 2. Anybody have this game. Is a worth a purchase? (Haven't bought anything for my Wii in over a year x.x)

the game is awesome, i got the jap ver. that came out about a yr ago, had some extra mini games that would attract casual wii players. If your really into fighting games id say you have to buy it when it comes out for the U.S. ( i believe its gonna have online play, not entirely sure tho). Only downside i see is that like marvel vs games, this game is a lot harder to compete against the really good players since they can hit you with infinite's and other crazy combo's.

I imported it some months ago and still will buy the American release, and yes it is worth your money.

The American version will have online play. It won't have Hakushon Daimao but other 5 characters will be included like Zero from Megaman X, and Joe the Condor from Gatchaman. It will have more stages and apparently different mini-games.

The downside is that the music will be replaced, so you won't hear the rocking remixes of the openings of Tatsunoko's series.

It's not that weak... the main problem with long combos is the damage decay. Longer combos makes the last hits of them fairly weak when comparing them with the first hits. In the end an excesively long combo makes a Super rather... pointless. BUT cool!

Man, the damage on those combos needs to be scaled to stop the infinites. Of course, that's just my first impression, I have no idea just how easy they are to set up. But I can see where they would become a problem, seeing as how virtually every character seems to have one.

Thought I did remember reading something about nerfing infinites in the US release.

ive never played guilty gear but ive played super street fighter 2 on theVC and street fighter alpha 2 on a wii emulator and it plays just like it did on the SNES, smooth. it does pale in comparison to the dual shock but its by no means a bad controller aside from the fact that you have to connect it to the wiimote and funny how you say the wii needs better games but you want this game which is a wii exclusive, way to contradict yourself

theres nothing wrong with the controler you just need to learn to get used to it and if your going to blame anyone for such a software slump blame the 3rd party companies who either release minigames and shovelware or just make games for the other systems for the graphics theres nothing wrong with the wii people just dont seem to know how to handle it
