And since when isn't allowed to use a sample of a song as a base of a remix? J'adore hardcore uses samples of lullaby (Activator) and I just can't stop. They used the refrain of chase the sun by planet funk...

@funkyshade A large part of the video clip from j'adore hardcore is recorded in melbourne in the summer which means they recorded approximately in december 2008 - january 2009. That's 6 months before the release of I just can't stop... nobody release a teaser 6 months before the official release.

And if they wanted to make it less suspicious they would've been the first to release it smart ass.

And yes, the time between the completion of a song and it's release is often 6 months or even more.

Also, when Fusion of Sound announced that they will no longer release tracks on vinyls a few months ago, they said they would do so due to the fact that releasing a track on vinyl takes a lot of time (I've got no Idea why this is so, if anyone has info on that I'd love to know :P) And there are other reasons too, some I know about and many I don't :)

And yes, the lack of social skills with most people on youtube (or most any other website for that matter) is sometimes rather scary :)

sigh....Scooter isn't a guy, it's the name of the group. I never referred to Scooter as a DJ. I was using DJ's as an example of people who sample and remix songs all the time. Everyone does it, from Dougal, Neophyte, Hardcore Hooligans, all the way up to world famous dj's like Armin Van Buuren and Tiesto.
