I love vegetarian belts, trying to avoid any products made from genuine leather. So, I've just ordered my first Truth belt and I think it will not disappoint me ;-)
I would have to say that it's helping the veggie community by providing a good quality product, unique design that is made in Canada. Sure, you can buy a $12.00 belt but it will be made from PVC, made in China under horrible working conditions and will fall apart in 1 month. The belts from this company (Truth) offer a wide range of styles that you just can't find anywhere else. That's why they've been in business for 10 years! Obviously people like them :)
ha! what bullshit! you can find non-leather belts at ross or tj maxx for about $12. just find one that says "manmade materials" on it. fuck these companies that charge out the ass for products, trying to find a niche market. it hurts the veggy community.
@catchcake$12 dollars for a "manmade" belt, that sounds too cheap to me. I think the problem is in peoples perception of value, for example, organic food is too expensive many people say, yes, it seems that way, or wait a minute, look around you, you see the takeaway outlets advertising their "food" for only a few dollars, that is too cheap for good food, so people become obese and for most people it's easier(and quicker) to buy rubbish food or shoes/belts/clothes than to support a great cause.
@aurajinvAlso that cheap food is not really so cheap, it is harmful in so many ways, it costs alot more than most people dare to think. Good food just like any other quality product will cost good money. In this age of consumption it is a good thing to support a company that is sustainable and has good values instead of just trying to make another dollar. I'd rather pay more money for a product that has no harmful impact on the animals, fellow humans or the environment. Plus they look great too!

I own 2 belts from this company, and they're terrific. I've shopped around, and you can't beat the selection or quality. Great customer service too!
