The English version was the first I ever saw, so it has a special place in my heart (always will). I'm very excited to have almost the first episode complete. It has taken a long time, but it's really worth it ^_^

The uniforms aren't as bad as some of the stuff teenagers are wearing these days, so I really don't think it will be a problem. The Serena nudity won't be happening till the final episode, but I'm sure we'll think of something.

Technically, though, it isn't true nudity. It's more of a "barbie" nudity, and it wouldn't be too bad if you left it...

how would you be able to make it suitable for kids, theres no swearing or major gore in it anyways, in my eyes its already suitable for kids, im happy that the stars series was left un dubbed, the dubbed versions are teribble, especially with the censoring, name changing, and comepletely ruining sailor moon, i mean, they cut like almost 50 episodes or something, if your goin by what DiC does then youll be able to show barely any of it

It's more about making it more suitable for English speaking people... DiC did a good job of this conversion (not always though). Definately people should watch the original because it was a great season, but we're just seeing how it would be if DiC ended up dubbing it (but better). Also, since when did 6 episodes cut, become 50? :P

the only good dub ive seen was for Excel Saga, most other dubs are teribble including DiC's >.>

suitable for English speaking meant, using references that Americans could easily understand, since a lot of people don't understand most of Japan's culture and customs. Excel Saga dub was pretty awesome lol.

I do think DIC did a better job in terms of production values and acting, but some of the cuts were done just for timing's sake, not because of anything objectionable. Doing cuts for nudity and swears; that I understand. But could Uranus and Neptune just be friends and not use any romantic dialogue at all, for the kiddies? The cousins thing from Cloverway was just plain ridiculous!

I know. They are pretty dumb. In my version, they are just going to be very close friends who care about it a lot, but not really mention their relationship. I think If i just make a few script changes, it will be fine.

Good but If you are not aware not a whole lot of people like the DiC music or the dic format so if I were you I would be careful and to make sure that IF any icky comments come about the DiC style format come out, I would make an original uncut version for the ones who perfer the orginal format (original music and soforth).
