What I've noticed about these three consoles is that the console without a metal shell on the inside is the first to go ( the only parts enclosed in a metal case on the PS2 are the motherboard and disc drive). The Gamecube has a solid metal case right under the plastic keeping the contents packed together and relatively unharmed by external damage, however the Xbox while also having a solid metal case has open space on the inside between pieces leaving space for parts to become jarred.

the main problem with the xbox is the power button is not connected to the consol it is embeded in the outer plate she could have just reconected the ribbon so if she would reconect the ribbion every time it fell out xbox would have one. also when xbox 360 came out they fixed the flaw and the power button is now mounted to the consol
