it changes many times, with the different chords, i would listen to my version, or anyones who has an acoustic cover that sounds good and try to mimic their strum patterns, being able to figure out strum pattersn is a skill that you will develop with practice

hammering just means like you are slamming your finger down onto the string usually a fret or two above a note you just played, so if you play the A string on the second fret and you pick the string, then you slam a different finger down onto the third fret without moving the finger you were holding earlier, the new note should sound, it wont be as loud but you should hear it, dont stress though it takes practice

It's a capo and you can make on at home. ^^

Just put a pencil parallel to your fret lines, and then rubber band it to the neck by looping it around one end of the pencil, under the neck, then around the other end of the pencil.

I learned tons of more songs, once I made my own capo. x3 Still a real one is probably the best thing to use.

haha that is awesome, i never have heard of that beofre but it makes total sense. if you dont have a pencil and rubber band, you can tune your guitar up a step so instead of EADGBE you have F A# D# G# C F, but dont try to do that for anything higher than one step up or you may break some strings lol, try slither girls advice first, thats a good idea

hey man, there isnt a real secret too it, it just takes practice, the harde r you slam your finger on the louder the sound, so when you are beginning it may be hard, when i first started i practiced it on my electric because hammer ons are easier and you get more volume, but just keep practicing, i am going to do a video soon on reading tabs and cover the hammeron and pull off technique stuff so maybe that will help ya

hey buddy, it just means that the sound that comes out is made by your finger slamming onto the fret without strumming, it can be tough to master, the reason you are hammering on is because its going to be much harder to pick that 3 times that quick, lighter guage strings will make that easier too, does that help at all?
