There is a couple of reasons.

He is not really a good role model, being and jail and stuff. He is however, in my humble opinion a good rapper coupled with a genius of a producer in alchemist.  Anyways, he is very good. I think even the rap world does not really want to give him the credit he deserves because he is a bit too dark and the rap industry needs to convert itself to a commercial industry rather than a jaded spot of renegades. However, I do think his album is great.

I'm ok with songs that make people feel good and happy but at the same time what make people feel good and happy is an personal issue.
