I think your getting confused. We English people don't say that we are not European or placed in the European zone. What we are against is the fact that we're apart of the European Union (EU). The majority of England doesn't want to be with the rest of Europe....Unfortunately it's only the shitty Government that really has a say in that.

I understand you annoyance with those who responded to your previous video - being from England myself, I didn't find said previous video offensive. People get overly patriotic which is, simply daft. Just to explain the confusion about different terminology: Britain = the island which makes up England, Scotland and Wales whereas the U.K refers to Britain and Northern Ireland. That's why some people prefer you to say English accent as opposed to British accent.

@240kankan Yeah that concept is quite confusing. The United Kingdom is a unitary state(i think that's the right word) Its four countries with a centralised government. So a country made up of four different countries.
I think the main issue is that there are very strong national identities within the four countries of the United Kingdom. Most would consider themselves English/Welsh or Scottish first and British second..N.Ireland isn't part of the British isles but still UK countrymen..-gasp-

Northern Ireland isn't part of the island of Great Britain but it is still part of the British Isles.
The British Isles is a geographical location to describe the whole area - including Great Britain and Ireland. But remember that Ireland is a separate country to the UK :P
