The more I see him the more I'm convinced the he has the greatest chops ever possessed by a drummer by far. I don;t there's anyone that can touch him chop wise.
@realdrummer110 lier. ur some twenty something punk kid in front of a computer. 50 year old guys don't have time to spend in front of a computer making stank comments(i peeped ur page troll). plus ur conversation give u away. u speak like a punk kid.
@realdrummer110 besides its not about whos better than who, its about how each person interprets the information and adds to the vocabulary. no ones original. chris, billy ronald, williams, royster, dave, no one. everyone got there style from someone else. they just found a way to put their personal spin on the conversation.
@realdrummer110 wat are u talkin about turd. go take a lesson. i'm a 45 year old man who's been playing longer than you've been alive(35 yrs). please don't try 2 educate me on something, especially drums. dig?
SUPER TASTEFULL. CANT GET ENOUGH OF THIS GUY. he dont/DONT sound like all the rest of the GOSPEL CHOPS flock. I pray that the drumming world is able to have him around for a LONG time. cant imagine where he will be in the yrs. to come. I wouldnt compare this brother of god to ANYONE else...NAMASTE.
heats. . its funny because you don't process data fast enough to understand what they are playing.(Not to insult, but you don't play at that 'level of speed' so your ears aren't trained to understand whats going on).
But then against most kids don't reach that speed so its understandable that you would confuse those drummers even though there is a huge difference in the timing and fill types that they play. .
@jmr2master yea? so thats why i went to a dennis chambers clinic and when asked about it he said the same thing i said? and i have had a class with chris coleman in NY at the collectives and he said he likes to play like dennis.
1) So many kids see this as just playing FAST. If your ears had the technical development(Which comes from practice) required to follow the patterns played you would be able to tell that Coleman isn't trying to nor does he sound like an exact copy of DC.
2) Also I can tell you didn't understand the comment Coleman made either.
3) If Coleman was a carbon copy, you wouldn't be jumping up and down to youtube videos of him leaving comments like that. Go practice kid.
@jmr2master HAHAHAHAHA and when did i ever say that all they do is just play fast? Chris coleman is an amazing drummer who can do all sorts of rudiments and patterns and can incorporated into his songs. Also, i never said he was a carbon copy. I said he likes to play like him because he is influenced by him which means he likes to use some of DC's fills. If you were a real drummer you would know that. All drummers are influenced by each other. Old man.
@heats1 WOW, I LOVE how you like to insult someone and then (due to either your typing ability or mental ability) switch its implication around as if the original statement did not express an insult. unless your excuse is that English is not your field of study, try and read what you post.
A statement like "he likes to play like/use fills off DC but plays them 'wrong' " mean(and there is only ONE meaning) he is a failed carbon copy. . Maybe we should talk about sentence subject and adverb usage.
@jmr2master lmao first let me applaud you in those insults, it looks like you really took the time and searched google for "smart" comebacks. Second when did i say i was talking about chris coleman? lol. Because i am looking at the comment now and i will copy and paste it for you. I said "oh yea btw ronald bruner copies dennis fills in a bad way and chris coleman plays like dennis more." You sir need to practice your reading and comprehensive skills :).
but im not trying to compare thease players theyre all different!!! by the way if anyone is reading this, check out chris dave CHECK OUT CHRIS DAVE if you dont know that name your missing out on life
Chris Coleman in my opinion plays a little like Dennis Chambers and Ronald Bruner junior copies a lot of what Dennis does but not the way it should be
Chris is the baddest drummer in the world today. No doubt. I'd put him against Carter Beauford, Manu Katche, any of the greats.

its a different style i think chris coleman fits better with ron bruner junior and thomas pridgen

>> Sheds aren't really about what style of music you play, its about having fun and learning new timings for rudiments from different drummers.
