true. but I think that if they're going to make an iron man movie it's best to create an adaptation of him based on the original mainstream iron man. I do like the Nick Fury idea in this one with Samuel L Jackson. he looks awesome.

this movie is probably my favorite marvel one...if not spiderman 3...i just thought it was so well fabricated and wasnt cheezey like other marvel films with great acting from robert downey junior, and jeff bridges...but i want to know something what is S.H.I.E.L.D something cliked when the guy said it at the end but meh...hey you all be interested to know that tony stark is in the new hulk film... so its pretty cool that finally marvel is combining and even with the same actor!!!

yeah, I'm glad that they're putting cameos of other people. ed norton said he did a bit of script changes and added some references to marvel characters (one being Captain America apparently) also, hulk is rumoured for a small part in the iron man sequel.

lol, yeah a lot of people were kind of disappointed that the REAL movie version of fury is based off the ultimates. I mean with regular nick fury there are so many other people that could play him.

Usually I'd agree b/c I don't really like the ulimates but I make a huge acception in this case since it's Samuel L. Jackson playing him, he's one of my favorite actors and theres no better person to play such a role.

Yeah I saw Iron Man today it was freaking Awesome and the fight scenes between Iron Man And the Iron Monger were wicked and i loved the part where Tony escapes in the Mark 1 armour for the First Time was awesome too. I did stay after the credits and man im really looking forward to The Avengers Movie and Iron Man 2 which is ment to have War Machine in it so should be good

Yeah I liked Iron Man aswell! I noticed loads of the refences, my favo being S.H.I.E.L.D. hehe. A good comic book movie, not the best but a good attempt!

Yeah Tony didn't reveal his identy untill 2002 but it was still awhile before civil war. I think the whole point of him doing it was to say look he has come this far but there is still the same person in there. I doubt Shield will cover it up. I think the sequel could deal with his alcholism. I love the Avengers set up. Just hurry up and make a Thor and Cap movie then hello Avengers...Iron Man, Cap, The Hulk, Thor, and then possible introduce Wasp since she was an orginal. Great review!

yeah, captain america is supposed to start going into production pretty soon after iron man and the script for thor is being written right now.

I saw it yesterday and I thought it was awesome. Robert Downey Jr was great and so was Gwyneth. I'm so glad I saw Iron man, my friend wanted to see 'Made of Honor'.

I hope so. usually in the comic book movies these days there's always a recurring villain for the franchise one way or another (Green Goblin, Magneto, Doctor Doom etc) so I wouldn't be surprised if it was the Mandarin.

thanks. yeah, the entire time I was waiting for the after credits scene I was complaining to my friend about the end. he was like, "don't worry S.H.I.E.L.D. will kill the reporters." but then again, if that was the case then story wise he might as well never have told them he was iron man.

I saw it today it was amazing. Kinda preditiable towards the ending. And DAMN IT!!!! I left after the credits. I knew Jarvis was AI and was really happy with the way the did him. I think he revealed his idenity because they were setting something up for the sequel. They picked really good actors that were all fimilar with and I wouldnt have it any other way. I give it 4 stars.

People can go after Pepper and Rhodes especially if he went public with there relationship(with Pepper I mean cause, you know itd be werid if he came out and told the media he and Rhodes are buddys) sorry off topic, yeah people would want his armor and I bet SHIELD would want to put in a few favors now that hes flying around in that armor. Oh and I think there also setting up something for the next movie with him being a alcohlic but doing it suddely.

Awesome dude! I really enjoyed the movie. Definitely one of my favorite Marvel movies. I didn't really like Gwyneth Paltrows acting towards the end, I just didn't feel it. Nice review man, I can't wait to see Robert Downey's cameo in the new Hulk!
