Awesome, I'm 28 and still my parents will say some comment about how I need to be careful with D&D. More so because we'll all commit suiside if our character dies than satan worship, but "the devil" has certainly come in to the conversation.

Oh, and I'm a Christian who loves the Lord like crazy and loves to talk about Him. Also, I don't judge people badly based on who they are or how they live their life.

People often say that the Bible condemns just about everyone to hell when in reality, its the religious fanatics that have twisted the teachings. What the Bible says, and what crazy religious freaks say are tow different things. In fact, children need their fairytale imagination, otherwise they would not be able to believe in what they can't see, like, Love, God, peace. Etc. DnD is no worse .

Well. The Bible does say that Jesus said the only way to Heaven is through him. However, does this mean everyone not a Christian is going to hell? I don't really think so. It just means they wont be getting into Heaven. I believe there are three after lives. Heaven, Hell and Purgatory. Heaven is for the Jewish and Christians. Hell is for those who can't be save. Purgatory is for those who have done good things but aren't Christian or Jewish. Purgatory = second chance.

We call it the "gulf" instead of purgatory, It says in John I believe" Who so ever believe in my, shall not parish, but have everlasting life" If you take that text, you can see that people who are just believers and not walk the christian life, still has a chance of everlasting life beyond death. So, in a sense, I consider myself more of a believer than a christian at times, because I struggle walking a christian life. But I love the Lord.

I saw the core rulebook on the shelf next to a dusty copy of the "Mazes and Monsters" game.
