I just did this section a few weekends ago in my "Ducky" kayak, same time of year. Emerald water, red sandstone canyon, yellow leaves and trout galore. It was like living in a Van Gogh painting.

Weird. The green river in utah has the "flaming gorge" and the green river in washington state has the "flaming geyeser gorge"
