I had about 30 plus salivary stones last year during my finals and it was hell. I went to the doctor and all he said was suck on lemon drops. Eventually it go so bad I had to be put on pain killers. It took over 2 weeks for the stones to pass but one did manage to get itself lodged into my salivary duct. Doctor told me if I did surgery to take it out I would eventually have to remove my salivary gland. These salivary stones are hell .
i've been eating lemons, and drinking lime juice ewww i hate sour stuff, but it's not getting any better, if anything it feels like it's getting worse, i HATE drs, is their anyway i can get it out myself? i've only had it for about a week, i want it to go away it hurts soooo bad. my whole right side of my face is throbing and hurting
This JUST happened to me last night while eating fish and I thought I had a sudden allergic reaction to the fish! It's never happened before! It hurts to eat! I hate lemons :( is there anything else I can do? Everytime I eat now, my neck swells up and then goes down about 10 mins after eating. OUCH!!! ENT said it's a salivary stone and I have an appointment next Monday. Today is Tues!
I got one under my tounge and my neck swelled up real big one day when i went to drink orange juice. A few months later it pop out on its own. so glad when it did.. but now i have more under my toung, but i am too scared to go to the doctors.. there not really painfull tho thease ones.. they just swell a little tiny bit when i have sweet stuff.. still dont know if i should go to the doctors or not???
