and in fairness to charice , she has a profound head voice like whitney houston...charice is still very young but she is now compared to veteran singers who already established their names even before she was born. charice is considered a vocal prodigy because of her astounding ability in singing even in her tender age.she is probably the best teen vocalist now. her voice keeps on improving as she gets older.her latest performance in singapore can prove that.she sings and performs like no other.

i dont even agree that regine is the best live singer in the world...celine dion is even better...regine's vocal range is high but she sounds annoying compared to celine dion...celine also has a more powerful voice that regine velasquez.

regine is Asia's songbird.Charice is already an International Singing Sensation and has performed in front of various foreign audiences worldwide and she has received multiple standing ovations in every performance.regine's voice is also old fashioned. charice's voice is more powerful especially in the lower register. Her performance is more solid than regine's.

In case you didn't know, David Foster and Oprah is already working on making her the next "DIVA" in the US. Regine cannot COMPARE! Charice is untouchable. Regine only knows how to scream and I know that for a fact by hearing her live while Lani shows real range and skills without having to scream or yell. i know. but technically, a scream would measure lower than F6, and Regine only BELT C5's-B5's. SCREAMING lies on the 6th octave. maybe you should know the difference between SCREAMING and BELTING. i don't really idolize her. i just said that Charice and Lani are nothing compared to Regine, like what i can see in their videos. Charice is the one who SHOUTS. she doesn't have a sweet tonality like Regine. And Lani's voice is too shaky and off-keys all the time, also sound old fashion

Yeah. LIVE. and Regine is the best LIVE singer in the world. Nobody can beat her LIVE. Maybe Charice did have a chance to work w/ David BUT that doesn't make her better than Regine. She can't sing as smooth and as soothing as Regine. Charice high notes are squeezed from her throat and her voice sounds very ordinary. Lani cannot belt as high as Regine and cannot go as sweet as Regine. Regine has the best control over her voice even at her highest peak.
