Lt col position is a reputed & military position. Its not conformed to any Film stars or any kind of civilian personals. For what?. They don’t have the calibre, moral of a military service. There are several military personals who toiled, sacrifice their life in military, who’s looking for a promotion. So conferring a reputed position to a civilian ,who has no background in military services is not a negotiating factor & its demoralise the military personals

@jomykjoseph yes it requires not a lot of effort for normal people like you and me to realise that it is a fuked up system where an actor, no matter if he is mammotty, mohanlal or suresh gopi, gets decorated like this. but it is a hell of a lot of effort for those pricks like the ones posting these and those trying to defend it. Pity those who have to work their way up, spend days and nights in places like Siachin, fight the terrorists, before getting to this rank. and here's the shortcut.

Guys Guys! please ..think before what you right. He has joined Territorial Army, a wing of Indian Armed Forces where common citizens who are fit are allowed to join Territorial Army and their service are seeked in case of emergency.

And please stop arguing on this topic. FYI mr Kapil Dev is already In Territral Army ina respected postion. Even you can join.plz if you want to then go ahead and do it.
