How'd you change the key?

I lowered all the 6ths and 3rds by one note to make things super minor. Flat flat here, flat flat there, and a couple of brand new chords. I imogine it would sound pretty cool if Imogen sang it this way in a live setting.

The software I used to alter the singing is called Bias Peak. I won it in a game of poker in Bucharest.

I wanted to take Imogen's singing in a completely foreign direction. And I don't just mean Eastern Europe. :)

Her work tends to be electronic, airy, and refined. So this vacation had to be acoustic, gritty, and crass. A glitter-to-gravel transformation. It also meant changing the scale from major to minor.

Putting it together involved reverse-engineering a conversation around snippets from her vBlogs. So I ended up taking not only Imogen's singing but Imogen herself into the tavern. :)

Yes I did all the guitarwork. Imogen's spoken parts were taken from her video blogs. The Russian / Croatian / Romanian mash-up accents were done by me. Totally sober. I think.

The bass player was from GarageBandistan.
