@xXLONGBOARDINGXx It is a little pedestrian in the paddocks. Lots more fun on the beach. The latest incarnation of my gopro mount is at the start of 'One Hundred bucks worth of fun" video. I have the suction mount which does seem pretty strong, but nowhere on the buggy to put it!
LOL - Bravozki, I think the GoPRO got so bored shooting the kite, that it fell asleep and fell off the back onto the grass. I actually thought the shot in the grass watching the kite was far better than the earlier GOPRO MOUNT. At least you could watch the grass grow. LOL 8-)
Wait till I start posting my Gopro Walking videos, you'll be sleep walking in no time!
@AtherSpooner The board is simply a bit of hardwood decking. I've since replaced this with a Downey T fence fitting (which fits around the axle) and a bit of pvc pipe - much lighter and less prone to vibrate. I think there is some video of it in my 'fitness workout' video (fitness being me pulling the buggy up the hill and billy-carting down!!!)
Use a rubber sheet, like used to help remove tight lids from jars, as a base wrap. That should help add friction to the mount . Or add a brace connecting to the main buggy frame.
@gavvo888 Yes, I ended up with a 1.5m rubber sheet around the axle - that fixed it! Although I've since modified the mount to a much lighter unit using 40mm plastic pipe and a gal fence fitting
Yeah that end shot is pretty cool though. I suppose that's what it looks like being drug off by Dingo's to be eaten. As a matter of fact (probably know by now) that 3M makes traction tape in all sorts of length and width for stair treds or whatever. Hardware, skate shops, truck supply is best bet.
@TheLimbReaper Traction tape! I'll remember that for next time. I've wrapped a 1.5mm sheet of rubber around the axle which has stopped the slippage and I've not had any problems since but the tape sounds like a better idea. I'll keep an eye out.
Looks like he mounted it that way to cut some weeds while having fun

agentdude1993 1 month ago
@agentdude1993 Either bring the kite up high and use it as a drogue chute or do a big sideways slide - much like a downhill skier.

If you use the rubber plug that came with your GoPro you can eliminate the clicking.

Great idea to mount the gopro like that. Maybe you can work on a better construction.
Nice video!

I love it. Especially the end. Some friends are doing the buggy stuff, but on a desaffected airport. This rocks. And the GoPro HD too.

Even with the mount it was a cool video. I'll have some videos soon of my GoPro HD. Great camera!
