me and my darling lesley saw macca live @londons hyde park and he was out of this fucking world we would really like to see him again.......thanks paul
That is an amazingly long set for a 68 year old man to perform. It's a testament to how much fun it must be to play music. And to Paul's generosity, in giving the fans what they want.
This is great, as Live and Let Die is always, but the Summer Live '09 Tour, Good Evening Europe Tour and Up and Coming Tour performances are simply amazing, mind-blowing and better than any other performance of this song, cause of the increased amount of pyrothecnics.
Before, it was 4 or 5 pyro throws, but now it lasts for the middle part and the ending part, non-stop.
i was at this concert ....(free for quebec's 400th birthday) i was like 80 feet away from stage though... there were like 250,000 people there it was crazy people lined up over night. DID ANYBODY ELSE GO?
@nintendowiirocks111 Yes I was there also. Probably not to far from you if you were about 80 feet or so away from the stage. I was in line at 5:45 that morning!!! It was THE most amazing concert ever. I'm trying desperatly to get tickets to see him again in Montreal in August.
Been doing the song for almost 40 years now and still can mess up on it, I love Paul haha. Great live performance, it's a real joy to see. The pyro can melt your face litteraly.
OK, does anyone else think Paul McCartney should be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize? If you watch the video of his concert in Red Square you will have to agree with me that McCartney and his music have contributed more to global togetherness than any living politician, and this is a serious point.
@jeefu he was knighted- which is a big honor- and he got to play at the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony once- but I agree- he deserves a peace prize- there are entire books on how the Beatles brought down comunism peacefully- and all of Paul's anti-war pro-peace music he's written should count for something. Paul rocks- he deserves a peace prize!
Man, he's allowed! And it wasn't a big screw up, he just almost giggled. My roommate just saw him in Boston, 5 freakin' rows from the stage!!! Have the pics to prove it!!!
right before this part, my back was completely destroyed from standing so long. I was in the most pain i was ever in. my father asked me if i was ok, before i could say no McCartney started to play this song, and it made the pain beyond worth it. I wish i could have been in Halifax, I would have walked from Qc and lived in the streets if it wasnt for my friend being in the hospital.
heregoes, I saw a Bond interview show, and the guy said: I called paul & asked to write the song 4 the movie, he said I'll give it a go, "whats the name of it?" he told him, hung up: 20 mins later the fone rang, the guy picked it up, it was Paul he said: "ive got it" GOT WHAT????? PAUL SAID: THE SONG "LIVE AND LET DIE" WHEW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
C'est la photo montrant les Beatles traversant Abbey Road ou McCartney a les pieds nus qui est a la source de la rumeur. Je ne vois pas le rapport, mais c'est ça.
he was laughing because he knew what was coming up (the pyro, fireworks, the big bang etc.)He does this song in every major concerts this way to pep up the crowed!

@glaxko2 He will do private concerts--for $1,000,000. He did the 50th birthday party of some rich dude's wife a few years back.
