The barra don't breed up at Tinaroo, they need saltwater to do that. The fish swam off, for how long I do not know, but we did not find any fish of similiar size dead over the next few weeks. We will see if the tagged fish gets caught again. Hopefully it will :)
nice fish mate! thats the mazlin ay! ive caught quiet a few barra there when that creeks running high! good stuff boys! ive actually got a hook stuck in my foot from walkin on those rocks! just thought id add! haha
Thanks for the comments, hope it gave ya a few laughs and a few itches to dust of the barra rods. It was a 120 and coming up to Aussie Day again, am hoping I can pull some other fish catching escapades again. I will have the camera waiting
LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL this is funny because in September this year the same thing happened to me, tried to get the barra off with my hands and it shook and got me connected to it. Only my bara was only around 50cm and i was fortunate enough to be in a boat at the time. NICE fish by the way
Yeah thats the way!! good effort guys!! makes me keen to get back up there for a go :)
