FYI, the Americas include North, Central and South. So, yes, Canada is in the Americas, it is in North America, and technically it is American. Some people will get upset if you say it is American or part of America but those statements are true. think huk coulda won after taking out gix's third in the first push. He had so many immortals and 1k+ banked, and even managed to supply-block gix. If he had just forward pyloned and committed instead of expanding that probably would've been game.

@MrNuffster Well, Huk is the kinda guy that makes his opponent know that he has hallucinated units, fly lots of them around, and then build actual air units. So I wouldn't say it was super stupid to throw up 2 spores just in case.. He also used DT's in one of the other games, didn't he? Not sure if it was this series though, been watching a lot of StarCraft today : ) And spore crawlers look pretty good too! Not as pretty as a spine crawler, but still.. It keeps the morale up you know.

@jonjonteru huk was doing a 2base all in which is hard to transition out of. gix was using infestors, which is arguably the ultimate mid-game unit, and since huk didn't have the tech from the failed all-in, gix didn't need to tech up either

My rather large version of the Oxford dictionary lists 5 definitions and one of them is the definition i gave above. Also "Esport" not "sport". People need to actually get that distinction into their heads.

You mean those spore crawlers that were being built as early as 6:16? That could be in response to the hallucinated void rays or simply to head off any DT, as those have been employed to reasonable effect in at least one previous game.

I doubt the phoenix was the cause, given the timing.
