i think Fortitudo took his charge to eliminate those wielding the "dark arts" more seriously compared to the rest of the cardinals.

Temperantia (also my favorite) sounds like he has a short temper, but enjoys a good fight.

Fortitudo hated Bayonetta with a passion from the start, from what I'm assuming, lol.

Temperantia seemed like he had a sense of humor. Actually, he seems the most "outgoing" out of the other Cardinals.

Justice was..weird. But I think he cared about the other Virtues because he does have the power to give life.

Sapientia, in my opinion seemed like the weakest boss in terms of damaging your health. However, he was annoying to get rid off.

Well, the whole point of the game is that it's set in a very "classy" universe. The jazz-style music is something I've never heard in a game before (especially not as action music) so I think it's an excellent & original approach to the game!

And I strongly doubt that Bayonetta would've received half as many good reviews as it had, had the OST been made according to game norms.

Poppy & jazzy is what Bayonetta is all about; it's an over-the-top, classy action game set in a time when pop and jazz were two of the more dominant music genres, and it did infact influence people's lifestyles.

I can't really understand why you're suggesting that the OST isn't serious. As much as I love epic battle scores, it should fit the theme of the game - something this OST does, in my opinion.

Disagree if you will, but I'd call these soundtracks thorough & fitting, rather than unserious.
