This was their follow up to Do Wah Diddy Diddy and almost repeated the feat of topping the charts. Went all the way to the no.3 position in the UK and no.12 in the US. Great song by a great group. If you ever get the chance go see the present day Manfreds - you will not be disappointed!
Good morning, do you like sixties? Listen and pod cast my program " great sound of 60' s " on the site plumfm. Greeting and made blooper in rock and roll.
Salut, vous aimez les sixties ? Ecoutez et podcatez mon émission "le super son des sixties" sur plum fm. Salut et faites gaffe au rock'n roll.
Boss tune! Can you please post John Hardy (the flip side)...I like it even better than the A side..It's hard to find a compiliation that features it. Even the Ascot compilation leaves it out....love hearing british bands intepreting or writing westerns, like Rocky Raccoon...and John Hardy.
Love Manfred Mann! Did you know - the 45 picture sleeve of "Sha La La" is worth more than the record, itself? And the 45 EP, "The One In The Middle" brings a nice price, too!!! Great post, Ron.
Trying hit from Do-Wah Diddy

Paul Jones was, and still is, great. Catch him in action on YT. Looks like he's still in his 40's.
