Im pretty sure you are very close to the truth i mean there can be an infinite amount of interpretations about the bible and homosexuality to be completely honest I believe that homosexuality AND homophobia are wrong the world should be to the point that no mans character is judged by his sexual orientation but it still doesnt mean that Christians shouldnt fight for what they believe in The only problem in today's culture is mainly mistaken interpretation of other peoples actions
I can see the point you're trying to make in a sense. I guess one could be neutral on the issue and treat it on a person-by-person basis.
Basically, as long as nobody is "stomped on" and a victim of prejudice then everyone should have a right to their own opinion. I hope I understood that correctly.
now im not sure how else this could be taken.. and you cant say someones different interpretation is correct just cuz thats how they understand it.. otherwise people could believe anything and say it was correct.. God can say something in his word that can mean two different things at once (hope you understand what i mean) however they will not contradict each other so in other words, two opposite viewpoints cannot both be correct. either homosexuality is ok or it isn't it cannot be both
They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.
Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.
