I must say, his vehicle mode hides his robot mode well. I had a choice of buying this figure, or Sideways. Those 2 and Ramjet and Skywarp where the only 4 transformer figures they had in stock. I went with Sideways and Ramjet.

there are many decepticons in the movie with "clones" for instance optimus killed demolisher but there was still a another of his kind which was scavenger which formed devy and there were also another mixmaster,longhaul,and rampage type decepticons looking for sam while devastator was already formed. Also stalker scorponok that attacked jetfire has appeared and also you can see another decepticon with bonecrushers alt mode.

The ones that made Devastator are separate from the Long Haul, Mixmaster, Scrapper, and Rampage that we saw. We saw those in robot mode and the ones that made Devy were only seen as vehicles. The one chasing Sam is Scrapper who is separate from Rampage. The one battling BB I am not sure about but Starscream called him Rampage.

I agree that Rampage looks like a centaur, and that his front feet look more like hooves. I dislike the fact that his back piece doesn't align well in vehicle mode. The instruction shows that the back panel is aligned well, and bends all the way in robot mode. The one I have has loose a loose axel gimmick that always falls down

For you rookies who dont know anything about the Transformers let me tell you something the movies are good...but REAL transformers heads know...beyond the 1000 of errors that went into the 1st movie, they are improving slightly...like Rampage isnt a truck...he is part of the Predacon...who form Predaking...he is a lion...not a truck and Devastator is made up of constructicons...not ravage or anybody else...i will see the movie but thet are fuckin up the ppl who grew up with this...jeeeze

Yeah, I thought it would work, too, but Hasbro announced at a panel that the Constructicons of the devastator set could not transform into Robot modes, only limb modes and vehicle modes.

They should have made the robot forms available, though...

Thanks D. This was a very helpful review. Going straight into robot mode (instead of going to jackhammer and then to bot) was a great choice (personally I'll never use the hammer mode). Showing the reverse transformation was aweseom as well. I said that on one of your TFW reviews, but I thought it needed Tube voicing. :) With the complex figures, that really does help. This was the best review I've seen for this guy; thanks to you I know I want to pick him up. Keep up the good work!

Great constructicon. Demolisher and Scavenger are two different figures or at least Savenger is a reformatted Demoisher. But I have seen the Scavenger toy and he has his name in the side.
