Honestly...It was a rhetorical question. I'm quite aware of the nuances of the philosophy. I actually fancy myself a Classical Liberal in regards to government. Anything that keeps government small, specialized, and out of individual affairs is OK by me.

People that call themselves "Conservative" usually mean the whole package of social and fiscal conservatism, so I do my best to avoid the label, even if I agree with some of their small government viewpoints.
