I truly understand where this girl is coming from. I'm in medical school and I can't study in libraries for the same reason because people always start conversations and stuff. The interesting thing is you can't tune it out and even if you do there is a part of your brain which register language irregardless of whether you're paying attention or not, so it still takes away from your focus. I'm impressed with this girls ability to stand up for herself.

@cheyennes Irregardless is a perversion of the word "regardless", which is the correct form of the word. It's not really slang, just the wrong pronunciation of a different word.
You can keep using it if you like, but it makes absolutely no sense and to everyone else who knows that it's incorrect you look like a fool, especially if you knowingly continue to use the wrong form.

I took AP courses in high school, and a bunch of them in college I'm writing a stage play for myself it's pretty cool, I love writing poetry. But, for some reason I always hated the syntax, and grammar part, when it got too picky, and when my teachers would get so angry over stuff like that. In all honesty if someone wants to judge me and thinks I look stupid because I say irregardless instead of regardless, that's their problem.
