Been thinking why make this game p.c only, it has to compair to WoW, Star Wars, Eve and all other Free to play MMO's. Sega are just going to lose money from it I love PSO but in truth i would play Starwars or any other p.c MMO then this. To me PSO is a console MMO not a p.c.

@wind430 By that definition, Halo, Call of Duty, Resident Evil 5, Infact almost ALL of todays modern games are "MMO's" which is exactly why it's NOT an MMO, MMO means a large amount of people playing in the virtual location. By large amount I don't mean 5 or 6 or even 16 it is definitely upwards of 100 People when something is classified as an MMO. LOBBIES DO NOT COUNT.

@wind430 This is an "MO" multiplayer online game, which has a major focus on playing multiplayer online. but it isn't an MMO , because it isn't a large amount of people playing in a persistant game world.

i hope it will make you feel the same way as the first PSO did...it was so mysterious and no matter which age i was , i was often scared as hell but in the same way wasnt able to stop because i had to find out what happened with pioneer 1! Especially finding red ring ricos capsules was like following the bread trail, and with every message coming closer to the big secret <3

and i really hope it will be for ps3 or Xbox 360 as well, im a console gamer and my old stone age pc sucks T___T

Looks good, do want - but I didn't know that it was also coming out on the 360 and PS3. Honestly, I don't think that they should waste the time, money or resources porting it to such platforms - they won't be half as grateful for an MMORPG as the PC market will doubtlessly be.

And besides, we need something to make up for how much FFXIV sucked, right?

@Extaticus you'd be suprised how many people play phantasy star universe on the xbox. A LOT. maybe its rare in japan but in the west, xbox users outnumber pc users for phantasy star and thats a fact.. thats why PC and PS2 servers were shut down, there werent enough people but xbox servers are still up and running so its pretty clear what console dominates the west. keeping it to one platform would only reduce their profit (cant say the same about ps3 but there are even psp users)

I never heard anything about a PS3 or 360 release. but I hope it will come out 4 a console. after all Phantasy Star ve his origins on the consoles. I mean PSO2, the sequel of one of the greatest OnlineRPGs for consoles, will be also the first Phantasy Star Game which just come out for PC? I never would forget SEGA that thing. I dont know the release, but if its 2 late for the last generation then they should bring it out for WiiU too because I guess WiiU dont ve much more power then 360 or PS3.

I like how this game has a similar style like the original PSO, and has new features. The general speed and combat of the game seems to be sped up which should help make it more exciting. I just hope that Sega don't try to make it like World of Warcraft...and I like the graphics of this new PSO, and I'm glad it now has weather effects, the ability to jump, and the ability to be in third-person view when holding a gun.
