YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.

I have the Android app. It's similar to the iPhone one. It doesn't sense that the phone isn't steady nor does it control the flash on my phone. So I have to be careful to hold the phone as steady as possible and in a well lit location, in order to avoid errors saying it is having trouble reading my check or the amount I typed in doesn't match the amount on the check. I've just been using it for very small checks that I don't want to be bothered going to the bank with.

doesnt work for shit... you have to take 50+ pictures.. let it force close a few times and then maybe get lucky and it will go through. Sucks ass

BE CAREFUL with this app. used it to deposit a check, 10 days after the check cleared, somebody stole the actual check and cashed it at bank of america. Chase debited the amount out of my account without warning. When i called, they said they can't do anything about it because BOA has the check. BOA is requesting they start a claim so they can investigate since I don't have a BOA account. Chase flat out REFUSED. So if you have a Chase Account, CLOSE it NOW!!! They will NOT help YOU!!!

I love the iPhone 4. I consider it an extension of my body, but your demo wasn't good.

@derewreck making deposits on iphone, all you're doing is skipping A trip to the bank. banks, for a while, have been taking an image of the check. When you hand a check to the teller, they ultimately get an image of it and deposit it. If it turns out to be stolen or otherwise, they deal with it when they figure it out. So all we are doing is taking the picture ourselves instead of having them do it.

No doubt people will try to cheat, but just saying its not like its THAT much easier now.

about time banks upgraded it, sooo slow in the states when it comes to mobile banking compared to asia. korea is withdrawing cash from atms right from cell phones, without touching the atm.

Well when I deposit my check from 4pm-9pm it's in the bank and ready to be withdrawn by 5-6am on the next day. It happens to every check I have deposited so far. I'm lucky I guess.

This really works on 1st generation iPhone too. But BEWARE: It takes 2 business days for the actual cheque to post to your account. So it's not instantaneous or next day.
