Given the now present condition of the track, I doubt we'll ever see this again...LVR have moved out and there is little evidence of them ever returning.
There was a lot of talk for a while of LVR re-opening the line, but it seems that's all it was...just high hopes.....Cowra has all but forgotten they were here....and that is sad.
@critchley3819 Sadly, the situation has now become worse... a flood last year destroyed over a kilometre of track and viaducts about 35 klms south of Cowra...I was down there a week ago...took a lot of photo and vidoes.... it is a sad sight...it would cost a packet to repair it (given the other damaged areas on this line).
I don't think Lachlan Valley Railway (or anyone) now have a hope in hell of reusing this line.
@twowords2008 Back in 2008. The line from Cowra north to Blayney closed a few years ago, the line south to Harden [this one] closed late in 2009 however the LVR is fighting to reopen both for passenger and freight.
So your one of those guys who sets up the video camera and then runs off to get still photos, hay. Bit of pan and tilt and zoom now and then makes a good video a great video.
Oh that may be true but then why would you limit your business to just a small part of the market. Bigger market appeal equals more money in the bank. All comes down to shoting for what you like or shoting for what the customer wants.
Dear NS., It is too bad that the camera setting was not adjusted to receive more light; providing for a lighter image. . Had the photo been taken in the late afternoon or at sunrise, there may have been more light cast on the subject; quel pensez-vous? . One ought to borrow a panning head for the tripod to track the subject; check your friends, they'll have one you can borrow -for sure. . Great sound. . Favoritied. Cheers. from, del-boy.
I'm in the second last carriage standing in the doorway wearing the white shirt, much prefer that to sitting down, sticking my head out for the occasional peak at the engines :-P
Nice video and a very cool train. Formidable locos. Thumbs up! :)

@pyrofella I guess nothing can last forever but for these magnificant machines there should be an exception,no matter what the cost.

Ok, sounds good to me. But I video from two cameras
plus shoot with the D90. Which also does video but I
haven't mastered that yet. I need to get a better view finder for it.
