RHCP were never a fantastic band but they fitted into American culture perfectly in the 1990's when Britpop was big in England. David Bowie is a truly inspirational songwriter and The Spiders from Mars(mick ronson) were pioneers of rock. Ziggy Stardust is one of the greatest albums of all time.
