  • Hypocrite! If you think it is so bad to own another person, how come you have just completely owned Jezuzfreek.

  • @ 8:40, actually, if anyone is OK with slavery they should try being owned for... the rest of their life.

  • Meridian, i let you and other brave ones watch the youtube idjits for me. Thanks!

  • i thought he was funny until i found out he was serious

  • Right on. I'm really glad you made this video rebuttal for the those of us that feel the same way but can't find the right words to express our disbelief at such idiocy that is Jezuzfreek777.

  • actually i do watch him cause he's an asshole he's funny :d

  • i am watching Jezuzfreek777 for the same reasons i am watching Sarah Palin.

Inevitable, at some point she will say something monumentally stupid.

    :)

  • Mongol horde FTW!

  • This is a perfect time to declare war on Christians. They created two wars, a depression, and caused millions of people in the north to die of the cold because they had no money. We must fight religion. We must not treat Christians with the same human rights we deserve. Did Christians treat slaves with respect. Now is the time to burn, steel, and take from Christians what is ours, when the government falls.

  • Jews owed Jewish and Gentiles in the old testament. We are talking about who started slavery, that would be Jews. Jesus Freak kidding around, just fun and games. The old testament is the most evil book that was ever written.

  • Your right on brother!!! Why anyone with a mind would subscribe to this knuckle headed, ass backwards, Jesus freak is troubling to say the least...All I can say is keep opposing these kinds of idiots, this kind of ideology needs to be stopped, and religious, fundamentalist nuts need to be challenged every time they open their ignorance holes!!!

  • Hey I read in his comments that people subscribe to indeed laugh at his bullshit!

  • doggys going "PPPPEEEEEEETTTMEEEEEEEE!!!"

  • Logic and superstition collide.

    I have suscribed.

Fuck the baby killer from Bethlehem and all who believe in him.

  • Do you know where to find Jezuzfreek's original slavery video? Looks like he took it off already ...

  • Jezuzfreek. you are wright christian are wrong, their God teach to hate race, hate other nation diferrence skin

  • I take that 8K subs serious too! I hope the majority of those subs....no, I hope "every" sub is watching him to see how sick these MF'ers are! And this is the same jezuzfreak that made a video saying, repeatedly, that if god told him to kill his young daughter, "he would in fact, kill her!!" What? I couldn't believe what this insane MF'er actually said!! And you know one day his daughter is going to see that video! I pity her. I don't even wanna think about what she would feel after seeing that

  • I wish posters wouldn't feed freek's attention whore fire ~ he would leave ~ then again ~ there wouldn't b any entertainment ~ can't have that now ~

  • jezuzfaake encourage slavery ? ~ this dude plays ya'll like his beer bottles ~

    cheers mate ~

  • @TJae1

Ha, ha! Yeah, sure he does. I guess he played his daughter too when he made a video stating in no uncertain terms that if god told him to kill her, he would!! Yeah, he's a real smooth "head game player!"

  • @Cootabux ~ faake will comment prowl occassional ~ so ~ look sharp ~

  • We( well really they ) watch him because he doesn't block, flag, or censor atheists.

And even atheists support him has a youtuber, especially the big ones, AmazingAthiest, and bretkean. And also if you hit TJ's subscribe button it pops up asking you to subscribe to others, and most people just do that also. He may be crazy but he is a generally nice individual and he even helped raise money for an atheist who is his friend.

  • @AriFeannor ~ U got a point ~ was a partner in sub-whore, crime w/ freek

~ seems the nicer of the duo ~ though

  • Thats like biblical rape being loving and kind !! Its still rape and slavery is still slavery ..no matter how you slice it.

  • Notice he doesn't mention the part where slaves can only go free if they leave their families behind to remain as slaves forever.

  • I´m actually subscribed to Jezuzfreek, and it´s mainly to try to understand religion and how people can be religious. Wish me luck.

  • @Astillion you're gonna hear a lot of craziness XD But you shouldn't look for the whole religious mind through christians or muslims. Look up other peaceful religions that dont force people or oppress people.

  • @Takiado

I might do that some day. For now, I´m mainly looking at christianity because it´s the easiest to access. I´m sure there are less oppressive religions, but the opressive ones make up the majority.

I´m a fantasywriter and working on creating my own religion. So far, it´s based mainly on christianity. But mostly the better parts of it.

Do you know any peaceful religion that you think I should look at?

  • Oh well in that case its got tons of drama in it which is perfect for getting people's attention lol.

But i went through being christian to being agnostic and now Im Pagan and I like where I'm at. I think mostly eastern religions (minus Islam) have many benign religions. However they're not popular here cause they are meant to be away with by religions such as christianity. But Paganism and branches of it are all very benign. Its one of the first practices of human kind. Wicca is a branch of it.

  • But Im going to go off topic and say that its quite an honor to be speaking to a writer and a fantasy writer at that! To go even more off topic I really quite enjoy the DragonLance series... Im a Raistlin fan. Anyways, im done being a creepy person.

  • @Takiado

Thanks. I have´nt published anything yet, but my goal is to get my first book out next year. I have´nt read Raistlin, I have´nt read all to many books at all actually. But my favourites are George R. R. Martin and R. Scott Bakker. Have you read them?

I have´nt looked into paganism at all, but I will do that some day.

  • @Astillion we dont need any more religions, thanks.

  • Christianity

The Belief that some cosmic Jewish Zombie can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree.

  • That sounds like a comic-book version of Christianity. Is that where you learned it?

  • @xGothimox Best capsule description of Christianity I've seen yet.

  • P.S. LMFAO I love the way you react to all the dumb fkin sht he sayz. Remindz me of me great fkin vid dude. Love it.

  • Great vid dude, I hate that fkin douchebag as well. You just gained a new subscriber haha. Keep up the good vidz man. And yeah i know this is from march but yeah i remember his vid and hez retarded haha yeah im kinda drunk right now,, but w.e lol keep it up bruh!!

  • i enjoy this video very much, especially the "fuck you, you are an asshole" part.

  • so well said.

  • you cant fight christians, even the nice ones are brain washed

  • Oh, one look at your channel shows just how much 'brains' you have.

Contacting the dead and doing such?

I'll issue a challenge! Send your evil spells and demons and whatnot directly to me! Tell me what information they need and we'll talk!

You wicca people are a waste of time.

And yes, you can fight christians, and sometimes you'll win. But fight CHRIST? Not a chance.

  • Lol but that same challenge can be issued to a Christian (or even CHRIST), and it always fails (something about how god doesn't like to be tested...)!

How can you issue a challenge that you yourself can't pass?

  • What challenge fails?

  • Any attempt to test the effectiveness of prayer. Go on, try it. Ask for something specific, and observe that it does not happen.

  • Well, I've already got the answers from the Lord.

I was working at Tyson and simply had enough of the day. I walked into the hide conveyor room and shouted as loud as I could "GOD? WHY IS MY LIFE SO SCREWED UP"?

In a deep masculine voice that seemed divine in nature I heard "Read the Bible".

I then received a study bible a week later and am now teaching Hebrew and Greek.

    God doesn't answer? SHUT UP!

  • johnlewis, do the following:

    1. Pray that every suffering (good) person will be cured of any ailment TOMORROW.

    2. Observe that absolutely nothing will happen.

    3. Realize that your scenario could have come about entirely by chance, with no higher power's involvement.

  • And why pray about that? Do you not know that practically ALL human suffering is because of sin?

I have a better idea. Pray for a revival in this blessed nation before we lose it.

And this might shock you, but God's goal isn't world peace. Do you not know that disease and human suffering will get worse, and that men shall become more depraved in the end times?

That would be praying against what God already KNOWS shall happen.

  • Do you even know the conditions you have to meet to get an answer from God?

  • Why don't you do a study on the LORD's prayer? You could preach a 3hr sermon on those verses alone.

  • you'd be better off doing more important things. like jerking off to screaming japanese porn =P

Fuck all that "LORD's prayer" bullshit. its not very healthy to poison your mind like that. its ok, theres nothing to be afraid of, hell doesn't exist ^~^

  • Ok, you're telling me to not poison my mind, and yet regard PORN as something good?

I suggest you get your own mind quarantined. That dog is smarter than that...

  • theres nothing wrong with porn =)

it doesn't make u hear voices in your head or frighten u about eternal torture.

my mind is sound, unlike yours. its filled with angels, demons, witches, and talking snakes. your head's so fucked up, i'm beggining think theres no shrink in the world that can fix u o_O'

  • You don't know a thing about me. But you're probably one of those who believes in something IMPOSSIBLE, such as atoms suddenly deciding to jump together to make a bacteria cell which somehow decided to change into a worm, a fish, then a monkey, then a human.

Better have a LOT of faith.lol

  • "But you're probably one of those who believes in something IMPOSSIBLE"

of course i'm not, thats why i don't believe in the invisible man in the sky, or talking snakes, or angles, or demons, or witches, or talking donkeys, or ppl rising from the dead, and whatever wierd shit u have so much faith in xDDD

it doesn't take faith to NOT believe in your stupid ass religion...just common sense ^_^'

  • Oh, God will not always be invisible. You WILL see Him one day. Of that I have ZERO doubt.

Repent or perish. Just remember, you EARNED it.

I do believe in God, and likely the talking snake is just a symbol, angels have been reported secular and non, demons as well, witches DID exist because you need no more than search celtic culture, a talking donkey? God can cause that. Yes. People have risen from the dead. Your salvation depends upon it.

I wipe my feet off and leave you be.

  • @johnlewisbrooks

It really does seem that you have a terrible understanding of evolution.

  • @PTurchan1

And what is so terrible about it?

What does science teach? That life was going on swell millions of years ago and then life was wiped out. And then it's started again and wiped out. And then once again it's all back but each time there's a different group of life forms.

That's exactly what the Bible teaches. Not once does it say the earth is only 6,000yrs old. It teaches that creatures will produce after their own kind with limited variations within a species.

  • @johnlewisbrooks

Not all lifeforms were killed when the dinosaurs went extinct: I can readily recall mammals and birds surviving. As for the 6,000 year old Earth, that was calculated through genealogy.

Wouldn't limited variations within a species not constitute a new species? Evolution produces small changes over a long period of time.

  • Well, that's what the Bible does say.

There was a flooding of the earth and a freezing over of it found in the early pages of Genesis.

"In the beginning, God created the Heavens and the Earth, (Phase one) and the Earth was a shapeless blob and darkness covered over the WATERY ABYSS!

Or deep, depending on your translation.

Now if the SUN ISN'T producing light...

What would it have done to the EARTH??? Snowball EARTH??

    ANYONE?

  • @johnlewisbrooks

But no animals were alive at that moment which is quite different than what happened during the last ice age.

  • @PTurchan1

Nope. God started all over. Recorded in II Peter 3:5 and the book of Jude.

Can I add you as a friend? I will be teaching the entire word of God in about a year from now in live video format.

  • @johnlewisbrooks

So how could animals have existed prior to the ice age if he had not yet created them (and also since they came after the creation of the light)? No, you cannot add me as a friend.

  • @PTurchan1

    Ummm... Nope.

It doesn't say God created light. He simply said, "Let there be light".

II Peter 3:5 shows you your problem and completely DESTROYS the 6,000yr old earth garbage.

  • @johnlewisbrooks

    Genesis 1:6

"And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also."

  • @PTurchan1

Come to my channel and look for my series called "Genesis Explained"

  • @johnlewisbrooks

No thanks, we are having the discussion here.

  • Thank you for showing our atheist friend that the bible is up on science. After all the bible is the most scientifically accurate book ever written.

  • @rocke4444 The Bible teaches that the Earth was a convoluted mass of rock and water in Genesis 1:2. Next verse? God has to reinstitute light.

Now if the Sun isn't producing light, and the Earth is flooded over...

Wouldn't that produce a SNOWBALL EARTH???

There's a park in NY that scientists now indicate that it was covered in a glacier nearly a MILE THICK!

  • @johnlewisbrooks

Like I said, the bible is the most scientifically accurate book ever written. The existence of glaciers proves this. It is good to see someone who can examine evidence without any preconceived bias. Our heavenly father must be so proud.

  • @rocke4444

He is! I'M GONNA GET ALL OVER THAT DEVIL LIKE A WET FART ON SATIN UNDIES!

  • @johnlewisbrooks

    Amen my brother!

  • @johnlewisbrooks

    What about it?

  • Don't bother to respond. It will be deleted.

  • (and here i go responding again)

    ahahaha xDD

heres the part where u realize u can't prove any of the ridiculous shit u spout out, and u tell me to believe your fairy tale or else... ... HAHAHA U FUCKING FAIL! ^_^'

its almost like u know your religion sounds like shit, otherwise u wouldn't need to threaten to shut me up (not that u can do shit about me anyway) xDDD

  • (deleted)

  • ??

um... ...the comment is still here... what da hell are u talking about? lol xD

  • @SEF6519 Please don't swear

  • @Domodeath

please don't look at comments if u don't like swearing

    kthanxbye

  • I have a better idea!

I'll post a video of people who confess that prayer DOES work. Hopefully I'll get that done soon.

I was praying for a foot injury to be healed, and guess what? I have the results.

Don't believe in a church speaking in tongues, please be informed that I can do that as well. It's a gift of the spirit.

  • johnlewisbrooks, if you are praying only for yourself to heal, and ignore the plight of others, then that is fairly selfish of you.

If god knows all, then he also knows whether or not your foot will be healed, and your prayer is useless.

  • Actually, I have prayed over quite a few people and gotten results.

And this will really shock you, but the God of the Bible doesn't know everything. When someone who denies Christ, what does God say? "I never knew you".

God cannot be all powerful as well because He cannot do everything. Certain aspects of His power have no limits, but there's certain things that God either will not do, or cannot do.

For instance, God cannot create a being higher than Himself. He's top dog.

  • Well at least I am quite glad to see that you do not engage in the logical fallacy of omnipresence/potence/cience.

Nonetheless, you can tell all the stories you like, but you know perfectly well that even the most wholesome and good prayer will fail utterly if it is too specific - strongly suggesting that answered prayers are coincidences because they are intentionally vague, and many outcomes can be interpreted as success.

  • Yes. A tumor vanishing is quite successful. A smoker (my mother) being set free from that at a prayer meeting is successful. When a friend of mine FAR more adamant about there being no God gives His life to Christ it's successful.

I know perfectly well the God known as Jehovah HEARS HIS SERVANTS!

  • Seriously, you people are IDIOTS!

  • MeridianFrost?

Sit down, shut up and look at the words "BONDMAID, BONDSERVANT AND SLAVE".

In the Hebrew they all mean this.

    SERVANT!

So stop with the idiotic garbage we've come to expect and actually show MORE BRAINS than your dog!

  • Sorry. Untrue.

Ephesians 6:5 through new eyes after this encounter: "Slaves, obey your earthly masters with deep respect and fear. Serve them sincerely as you would serve Christ" (NLT). Different translations use the word "servant" or "bondservant," but enough of the newer translations use "slave" to where there's little doubt about whom the apostle Paul was speaking--the slaves in the Roman Empire.

ROMAN EMPIRE HAD SLAVES. Hebrew were (not historically, but in the bible) SLAVES.

  • Sorry. But I am PERFECTLY right about that.

"Servants (slaves) be obedient to them who are your masters according to the flesh. (The slave owners were masters as it pertained to the task at hand and that ONLY; The LORD is the master of both flesh and spirit, and thus the boss of their well being as well.) in singleness in heart as unto Christ.

I have a Hebrew, Greek and Arabic dictionary RIGHT next to me and am thus not fooled.

  • So if it's a servant.. you're saying they could just get up and leave anytime they want and be free with no violent consequences? If not, it's slavery.

  • And when 4 guys on a chain gang are working on putting together a railroad they're being FORCED to work as well and if they try to escape they'll get shot.

    Slavery? NAH!

And yes, the master and his servant could talk things over. But if it was a covenant, BOTH were expected to fulfill his/her end of the deal.

  • Unless a "servant" is free to leave and be free whenever they like without consequence of death, then they are enslaved.

  • And where's the consequences of death?

Murder was not to be tolerated. You must apply the ten commandments to EVERYTHING you see in Levitical law.

  • Exodus 21:20-21 - Refers to slaves as property. A servant can't be "property" by definition. Owning another human being is slavery.

  • It's not what it appears.

Go to my channel and find a video series entitled "Exodus Explained" and find the 10 min segment containing that verse.

    It should explain it.

  • Jezuzfreek does make it sound like welfare, doesn't he? He neglects to mention that a slave has to work his ass off all day, everyday for nothing more then a crust of bread, a rag to wear and maybe an occasional bone. Good times!

  • I'd like JesusFreak777 to find some brothers or sisters of color who think Slavery was a GOOD thing. I'm sure any of those individuals would fight this worthless bigot to the hilt on this matter. It is NEVER okay to fucking OWN, or be master over somebody else. Mind you, there are some sexual subcultures that deal with it, but that's all about CHOICE!! Consenting adults are quite different, from stealing somebody from their homeland, and taking them on as a belonging against their will.

  • 5 stars for Mongol Gang-Bang!

  • - wheigh what you've said carefully and not misrepresent anything. But let me ask you this. You've taken out a 30 year loan on your house (not possible in ancient Israel due to the law). Now, you loose your Job and are unable to pay your bills. Would you rather be thrown out in the street or be made an indentured servant (considering this is the ancient world here) for a maximum of 6 years where if your master is unkind to you, you have the option of fleeing (i'll look that up for you too)

  • I choose freedom. Wanna know why? Because that is what I am used to as an American. I work my ass off for a living and I know that no man will ever own me. A person choosing slavery in that case is one callow human being indeed.

I know that certain slaves were paying off debts. Did it escape your attention that Hebrews were lawful in keeping slaves forever? Passing them down like fucking heirlooms? Leviticus 25:44-46

Also, I was referring to Exodus 21:7-11 when mentioning sexual slavery.

  • Hey, dumbass. With loans and shit, you're CHOOSING to enter a contract where you can be enslaved. And thats just 1 circumstance. The others are: Being kidnappes, conquered or being born into slavery. Which are all wrong, and also all accepted in your fairy tale book. This is why religion is evil. Normally, you'd just be an idiot who might choke on his own tongue. Now, Its turned you into a massive douche-bag who actually is FOR slavery. Do the right thing...kill yourself.

  • Evedently you are too syupid to catch what I was saying...Slaver was part of and ecomnomic system and it still remains. So If you're going to defend the form of slavery that exists today then you have no right to say that the biblical form of slavery was wrong. Grow up learn to think like an adult

  • hey numbnuts, do you have any debts? If you Do you're a slave to the bank...you're also a slave to the laws of this nation, you're owned by the bank and you're owned by government...are they caring and kind?

  • Hey....idiot...YOU should know the difference between responsibility to government/country, and slavery. Stop making excuses for the Bible's advocation of slavery.

Even our government isn't allowed to beat us severely. Also, our government has strict laws against a father selling his daughter into sexual slavery. Which the Bible also condones(Exodus 21:7-11).

You people are seriously fucked up for defending this shit. As if it was ever moral or righteous.

  • I'll make a videoo resopse to this ok? In fact, I need to actually do a teching oon the Law so that will be a good time to address your argument...

  • Please do! And when you do, I hope you wont follow Jezuzfreak777 into cowardice by taking it down when everyone calls you on how immoral slavery is, and has always been.

  • human beings will never escape "slavery"

Slavery is part of the Human condition think about it...in a capitalist society you are a slave to the bank, who instead of accepting you as an indendured servent throws you out in the street, while in a communist or socialist socitiy you are a slave of the Government (take a look at China)

  • I will say it again; Responsibility to government is not remotely the same as slavery. Biblical slaves were owned personally. They were allowed to be beaten within an inch of their life, just so long as they didn't die.Government doesn't make people their property. The bank doesn't own us. They own the debt that we owe. When we take out a loan, does than mean the bank owns us personally? Of course not. In a capitalist society we owe money; We aren't reduced to farm equipment. We aren't property.

  • you arent property? try breaking the law. Yes we have responsibility, this was actually the reson for slavery in ancient Israel (debt that couldn't be repaid) look it up, not only this but slaves were to be set free every seven years and debt was to be canceled. If you think there is no slavery in a capitalist socitiy try working a minimum wage job and making ends meet. Do I think the form of slavery we had in the us was justifiable no

  • Ok, you can continue to compare apples to oranges and ignore the immorality of the BIble when people show it to you. I prefer to live in reality, where it is wrong to own a human being. Where it is wrong to sell your daughter into sexual slavery.

  • lets think passage of the torah where "sexual Slavery" is endorsed ok? I supposed you're talking about the passage refering to rape? If you will notice the Father has the right to accept or reject the rapists bride price correct? What do you think may drive his decision on this matter? Whould it partially be or wholey be what his daughter decides? (depending on what type of person he was)...I wil be answering your thoughts on biblical slavery soon, you've rasied some good questions and I wantto-

  • Yes we can. We just have to say "No Slavery." But there are evil idiots like you who will promote slavery. Please, go kill yourself. I command you to do that, slave!!!

  • Within the first few words you already have shown your ignorance

  • within that whole sentence (and your ridiculous name), you've shown yours o_O'

  • No no not barbaric or horrific. It was more like a Seinfeld episode back then. Giddyup slaveboy!

  • Owning another person is slavery and therefore wrong.

But what about "pwning" someone? :P:P:P:P:P:P:P:P:P

  • Jezuzfreek is a retard! End of story!

  • You've watched Jezuzfreek's videos? Where's the duct tape holding your head together?

  • Stop reading the bible jezuzfreek. It gives a mandate for murder and slavery and rape and genocide.

    It is bronze age nonsense.

  • I don't understand, why didn't this idiot god just outright say slavery was not the go on his watch and then it would have been end of story!!!

He was happy to outlaw gays, disobedient kids etc...

This god is filthy and sickening.

  • the dog PWNED the fuck out of his arm

  • Roflmao!

    Oh my fucking god.

This has got to be the BEST response to any of JF's insane attempts at apologetics I have EVER seen.

  • "Foreshadows the relationship between us and our heavenly father..."

hell is looking better all the time

  • sub to the freek because I want my regular doze of crazy!

  • Christians would put a positive spin on baby raping if it was in the bible.

  • Comment removed

  • Interesting how "Jezuzfreek" parses the concept of slavery. I wonder how he would consider slavery if it were HE with the chains around his neck, hands, ankles, being flogged by HIS owner!

  • "Meridian...": I admire you for even wasting your time on "Jezuzfreek", but you're addressing a man who's clearly schizophrenic. One doesn't have to be walking down the street alone, screaming at the top of his lungs. He can be as calm and quiet, and seemingly as normal as Norman Bates - except, of course, when he was hacking people to death! Great video: keep up the good work exposing the ignorant religious wackos out there. You echo my own sentiments, but do it exponentially better!!

  • like the boston terrier, he (or is it she) is cute! yeah, I can't believe jezuzfreeks vid either. there's NO form of slavery that's good! It's wrong to own another human and treat him like a thing for your own amusement, or you're too lazy to work. there are more subtle forms of slavery though. wage slavery for example. working away, paying bills and never seeming to get ahead. you're nickeled and dimed so much that you think the odds are stacked against you. or maybe that's just me. i dunno.

  • you clean living americans ha, tj blocked me for saying manson was boring while comending his genius, wow atheists, the height of hypocrisy, an atheist is a derogatory christian name given to non believers just as nazis made jews wear stars, just another treehouse that needs cutting down, 'i am a small axe'.

  • I can only listen to Jezuzfreek777 via proxy LOL. I was once subscribed to him but I found I could spend the 10 minutes his videos last more productively being myself. Jezuzfreek777 is deluded by religion.

  • answer to 3 questions 5:08 - 5:23

    yes!

    yes!

    no!

  • All correct answers!! LOL!

  • I'm an Atheist but am subscribed to jezuzfreek simply because I find his stupid ass videos quite amusing to say the least. I think the reason he's got so many subscriptions is because people want to see what stupid shit he'll come up with next.

  • I agree, I can't help but facepalm after watching most of his videos.

  • so slavery is wrong because you don't get to live as a free human being. Well, biblical slaves had the same right as free people, but it is true that you don't have the ability to go work for another person. (unless you take into account the Biblical escape clause). So, by this rational is all contractual labor wrong? If I sign a contract that I will work somewhere for 3 years is it evil? I wonder if Biblical slavery is more like modern slavery or contractual labor...

  • Slavery is not a contract, you can work for someone without being owned as their property. Slaves, biblical or otherwise, had no freedom or control over where they could go or what they could do.

And how do you know how they were treated? Cause teh bible tells you? Perhaps you missed the beating them and surviving for a day or two verse?

  • raptor, Biblical slavery is indeed a contract. The Bible makes that very clear. Biblical slavery is also indentured servitude, which is far different from chattel slavery.

Exodus 21:20 is evidence of laws prohibiting beating slaves. It is clear that beating another was immoral, and if you were to cause serious injury you would also receive legal punishment. Nowhere does it advocate the beating of a slave.

  • Contract: Become our slave or we will kill you.

Read Numbers 31:17-18 and tell me how your bible family values are best put use here. raping war captives pleases god.

  • Raptor,

That particular passage is God judging a foreign nation for their sins. They would spare the virgins because they were "pure". Here they were allowed to marry them and integrate them into their society. There is no mention of either rape or slavery here.

  • Now thats some Wierd shit you know ... Not only Bible god Likes Slavery he also Plays Monopoly Earth .. Are you on Drugs people ... You got too be too think God commands other people to Conquer other nation. More than that the 'creator" of the universe needs other people to punish other people for him (-_-). Kinda Weak for a Master of Everything.

  • virgins were spared because they were "pure" what makes a virgin "pure" and a non virgin not? besides the fact that they are a hot commodity for sex trafficking. Open your brain, those women were raped and you know it, otherwise they wouldn't have only spared the virgins.

  • Your starting with a preconcieved notion the Bible is evil and reading into it that which is not there. The virgins were considered "pure" because premarital sex is a sin. They were less likely to be indoctrinated by the immorality of their specific culture.

  • 2:00 lol

  • What a cute dog.....

  • Man, I wish I was as awesome as you, Mr. Frost. I can't make things like this, because I get too passionate. But srsly, you are just too awesome. ^_^

  • chiristian apologetics for those that wish to be "gods servant" a "slave to god"

So what the christian is suffering is classic denial, then making up scenerios for their minds sake, for their god is all good, so life as gods slave must be good.

Denial, projection, and delusionary thinking for the self preservation of the ego

    In other words

FREAKIE IS AS CRAZY AS A LOON !

  • I concure meridianfrost.

Who the fuck are they to judge atheists when they get public with fucked up views like jesusfreak so proudly presents.

    I love my atheism.

  • damn you sound like me now

  • Owning someone as property is wrong because they have less rights, can be mistreated, and can be resold.

However, Biblical slavery does not allow for any of those things (I realize you disagree with me because of exodus 21, I will make a video on that soon)

I realize they were called property. But if you take away all of the reasons making someone property would be wrong, its just a label.

  • semantics? What language are you speaking?

I look forward to your video.

  • Sure, you can beat someone to the point of death, but you cannot mistreat them!

Following the bible, devote Christians from the US south to Europe practiced your humane slavery (or is it "human ownership" in proper semantics) for centuries.

Funny how your god, who also has people sadistically tortured for all eternity, could make commandments for his massive ego, but could say NOTHING clearly condemning slavery/human ownership.

How many lived and died miserably for that obvious oversight??

  • You can't legally or morally beat people to the point of death in the Bible. If you cause serious injury they are pardoned of their debt (v 26 and 27) and if you kill them you are put to death. Those are the legal punishments. Even if it was not illegal, the Bible makes it clear that behavior would be immoral.

Slavery like we know is condemned in the Bible. Slave traders were punishable by death. You should check out my video on this.

  • LOL So, a gentle enough beating that they do not die is not to the point of death!

I do not give a rats ass about legal punishments. This is the point. The vile, sick, egotistical, pig, jerk god of the bible, who also sends people to be sadistically tortured for all eternity, not only fails to clearly condemn slavery, but OKS THE BEATING OF SLAVES!

Slave traders and slave holders had no problems in history justifying those practices with their faith so your god needs to take writing 101

  • I already answered to all your points. You dont care to know how it translated in the real life of Hebrews of those times, especially to know whether or not they adopted your interpretation. As they did not, you have your own answer: they sinned against god! Anyone who did not behave according to your interpretation, even though your interpretation is not the one that is kept by people who lived their life according to the books, that they sinned against god.

  • TheCZMan, there is a difference between presenting poorly constructed arguments against my viewpoint and "answering all my points". Well, I guess if by answer you mean "provided some sort of a response" then you qualified.

Hebrews of that time simply do agree with my translation. Anyone taking an honest look at the passages has no choice but to come to my conclusion.

Even if people did break the rules does that mean the rules weren't there? or that the rule giver evil?

  • "Hebrews of that time simply do agree with my translation"

Really? Now how does it come that the talmudic text that made it up to these days drew a total different picture than the one you keep drawing? That the application of cases through laws show a different case?

When I underlined this point of seeing how people of those times lived the application of the text, you answered to me that jewish people sinned against god.

As to the "treat a foreigner like a Hebrew", I brought up the

  • irreality of this comment because in judaism, a convert has(had) not the same status as a purely born jew so how do you want that a foreigner(a gentile, a goy) who is not even a jewish person must be treated the same as a jewish person, knowing a convert is not?

All you are exhibiting here is a will to discard facts to fit your own perception of the matter.

  • Is the foreigner unjustly deprived of rights? What is this specific difference in status?

From the Bible itself we see the only difference between Hebrew and foreigner slaves pertains to the year of jubilee.

  • A pretty thin difference isnt it? Forever is indeed temporary with the life expancty of those times.

Actually, the differences were much bigger and pertaining to the status of non hebrews. But who cares?

Whatever, as I noticed I did not get an answer last time: what about biblical slavery today?

  • "Actually, the differences were much bigger and pertaining to the status of non hebrews. But who cares?"

That is not what the Bible commands, plain and simple.

"Whatever, as I noticed I did not get an answer last time: what about biblical slavery today?"

It does not matter what people do today. (remember what the pharisees did to the teachings of the Bible) Even if they do act unjustly as you claim, The Bible is clear on the issue.

  • Euh no, my question was not this one

so I repeat it: How about people who would practise slavery today as it is described in the Bible?

As to the other point, it is your very personal interpretation. Nothing actually in the records of people who did not distinguish culture from religion showed that they lived it the way you said.

Now of course, there is the escape route: they sinned against god, which is your very personal interpretation.

  • What about those people? Do they practice slavery as it is seen in the Bible?

If the actions of those people is unjust does that mean the Bible is unjust?

What is your point, and what is the best your argument can prove?

A literal exegesis and a personal interpretation are not synonymous.

  • Djeeee... I think I asked a pretty simple question. How about people who would practice slavery as it is seen in the Bible?

That is the question. The answer to your question is: the Bible is biblically just.

As there is biblical slavery, there is also biblical justice.

  • "How about people who would practice slavery as it is seen in the Bible?"

If they practice it "as it is seen in the Bible", then they will not allow slave traders, promote slave and master equality, not allow mistreatment of slaves, only allow people to sell themselves into slavery for the purpose of alleviating debt, and be commanded to love their slave as themself.

  • I already answered on the slave traders fallacy but that is not the point.

So you are okay for slavery, for one to become property of another.

Are you ready to call for a repell of the law in your country if I dont know a guy goes to SEA or Africa, buy a slave there and come back to the US to practice biblical slavery?

  • Biblical slavery was a method of relieving debt in that culture. It did not resemble the slavery we know of today. (calling Biblical slaves property is nothing like we imagine when called slaves property)

But today we have our own ways for dealing with poverty. I don't think our culture would have worked in their time frame, our their culture in our time frame. If you live in a country, you should follow its laws.

  • I'll come back later.

  • Ahhhahahahahah! WHY the FUCK are you working so HARD to justify slavery?? Seriously??? I assume you have no problem dismissing the part in the bible that says to kill unruly teenagers or kill people who work on Sunday...so why don't you just lump slavery in with that? Let me re-crystalize what meridian said: OWNING PEOPLE IS BAD. I don't give a fuck if it was for "debt" or whatever, it's FUCKING AWFUL to own someone. Just get over it!!!!! GAhh!!!! *bleeds out of ears*

  • Just ask yourself why owning someone is wrong. It should be easy to come up with a list of reasons. But then ask yourself if biblical slavery exemplifies any of those reasons.

  • Hah! I'm not going to go any further in this ridiculousness. If you want to feel warm and fuzzy about Biblical slavery because you feel some need to reconcile it...since it's your faith, that's your business. Me? I think slavery is bad, period. Any "kind" you can come up with. Why? Because it unnecessarily impinges on the slave's ability to live as a free human being. This applies to Biblical slavery and "secular" slavery (whatever the fuck that is).

  • CZ,

When you read passages saying that if you are a slave trader you get put to death, there must be one standard among you for foreigners and Hebrews, treat a foreigner like a Hebrew love him as yourself, Do not oppress a foreigner, people are only permitted to sell themselves, and the several passages that blatantly say this form of slavery was used to alleviate poverty.

These passages are not ambiguous, if anyone is attempting to skew the interpretation, it is you.
