Honestly the song is great it is clear to any true musician that this version was completly rerecorded and composed. It is absolutly amazing how much like the old it sounds. Not as powerful of a voice as the original but expected from 20 years of change. People tend to forget she is older. In my opinion of any artist who has been around for so long (very few) she has an outstanding present day voice

"MIss you most at Christmas time" and "Hark the herald angels sing" are beautiful.

I love this version, she sounds different, yet beautiful. If you can't tell the difference then you are not a true fan.
