the cop is just comin down to pickton's level so as not to turn him "off" and most importantly to get the confession needed to get this "thing" convicted and behind bars where he belongs. about his eating: like all living things and beings, the urge to live is too strong to not eat and live. it's a greater punishment to keep 'things" like pickton alive as their execution would only bring about whining about their innocence and how it wasn't their fault, but everyone-anyone else but them.

I think the cop did well, he polished his ego which pickton likes. I met pickton in 1996 at his brothers lumber yard in bridgeview surrey just for a moment, I remember a feeling of coldness just being around him, though its easy to say it now at the time I would not have ever thought 49 murders, he just seemed like a cold person and thats all though he was still helpful in picking out used lumber for me.

Sadly, we don't get much more news in Canada, Neesharani. This case was pushed through our, usually painfully slow, criminal court system and the only details that came out were about the 6 murders that he was convicted of. The "Other 20" victims and their families never saw justice.
There's really no info other than word on the street that Pickton had help, but it seems like an awful big operation for just one guy, to me.
