@SmallersCY LOL , you made that sound that i am dead :D check out my channel and you see how my training is going now,, i had back injury before World's, so i couldnt do my best there.. but now, i am health again and training for Europeans...
I think the point here is how he literally drops under the bar -- it doesn't even reach his hips before he bends under it and catches it on the shoulders... he descends in that frozen moment of time where the bar "hangs" in the air.
I'm also pretty certain he doesn't have rusty bars, unbalanced weights, a rickety platform, and he seems to have plenty of clothing accessories... but as I said before ----- Nice Job !
holy crap that's a crapload of crapping weight ! the oddest part is those two folks behind him are not paying attention or noticing this dude who is yanking freaking roughly 400lbs from the floor to his shoulders and standing up with it. hell, I can't even deadlift this on a bad day... nice job to you Mike !
@ptarleton He didn't film this just for bar path. I saw the vid and asked him to do bar path and put it up here. You are right that the best method is perfect from the side. This is still very good.
what happened to this guy?

Foot movement is fine, knees out a bit more might help for stabilization.
How do you like the shoes? I have the same ones, just got the beginning of the year, fairly happy but my silver adistar Adidas had more rigidity.

You think taking the vid from a bit of an angle instead of perfectly from the side makes your pull look less straight than it was?
