  • Ahmad Bradshaw tried to do this in Super Bowl 46...thankfully it didn't burn the G-Men.

  • Oh Ahmad Bradshaw......

  • This is why baseball is Americas past time

  • @plateofshrimp That's just because baseball is on ALOT, football is truely americas best spport.

  • @RsChrisG Alot?

  • @Steelersfan1756 Yeah, a lot.

  • Hakeem Nicks tried to do this at the superbowl but he couldn't stop.lol Long Live Jones-Drew!!!!

  • @MrDatmantdb you mean Ahmad Bradshaw ...

  • Next thing you know, the kicker misses the field goal wide left.

  • lol did the jags end up winning the game?

  • @nickhawkman yes. go jags!

  • @nickhawkman They did---they ended up taking 3 knees and then Josh Scobee kicked the game-winning field goal from PAT distance.

  • I love how no one highlight the most epic act of decentcy on that feild was #26 not destroying him when he went to kneel...

I know that you not suppose to hit kneeling players but, man you rarely see someone on D not take every shot they can...

    What a class act. GJ

  • maurice is a real man. doin it for the team and not for the stat.

  • Jags all day err day!

  • its smart because your kicker shouldnt miss from that close and it comes down to 1 play...win or lose...and from their its like 99% win...

  • @emantabrizi its a gamble either way dude. If they went and scored on that run, then left 1:40 seconds for the jets to drive, then they'd have to rely on the defense. Tough either way

  • @Bethybro1996 It can go either way, he kneels, they score. He kneels they don't score. He finishes the 10 yard run then the jets drive down the field and win. how is he and idiot?

  • I'll never understand why players do this. If you're ahead, that's one thing, but if you're losing, get in the endzone! There is no such thing as "guaranteed points." Kickers miss easy field goals all the time.

  • @emantabrizi But Jax has Josh scobee a 20 yd field goal is nothing to him

  • @emantabrizi He knew the Jets were out of timeouts and that they might score if given the ball back. As such, MJD was correct to NOT score. The Jaguars then took 3 knees and kicked a chip-shot.

Smart move. If Scobee missed the field-goal, that loss would have been solely on Scobee. I liked this strategy.

  • @AEMoreira81 ... What if there's a bad snap? What if the holder fumbles the snap? It's happened before. Remember Tony Romo in the playoffs against Seattle? Yeah...

  • @emantabrizi ughh what if the jets throw a hail mary, or do a kick return for a TD?

  • @humza101 ... LOL, if Jacksonville doesn't get the points to take the lead, then it won't matter, will it?

  • @emantabrizi there is a reason why they call josh scobee, mr automatic

  • @emantabrizi If the miss a like 15-20yrd field goal they dont deserve to win

  • @Purepwns3234 ... I disagree. Look at the Ravens yesterday. They played a better game than the Patriots (in my opinion), but because of their kicker, they're watching the Super Bowl instead of playing in it. Why put the fate of the entire team on the foot of the kicker?

  • @emantabrizi The kicker missed it to tie not to win so even if he made it doesnt mean ravens would have won and im glad the ravens arent in the superbowl

  • @Purepwns3234 ... Thank you, Captain Obvious.

  • Holy fuck, how are there this many idiots in the world?

  • classy as fuck.

  • lol what if they didnt score at all he woulda looked like a dumbass haha

  • Now I have to scroll down to find @notoriouschio's comment because you plugs decided to thumb up two of the same comments GEEZ

  • @markpasky08 just press see all then ctrl +f and type his name

  • did that move pay off? Like did the kicker kick the winning field goal after that?

  • @soccerlover1598 Yes he did Scobee Beasted it up

  • Smart play by MJD. If the kicker had missed a FG shorter than a PAT, then the team has bigger issues.

  • smart play

  • he stole that from brian westbrook

  • @PrimaryWPN106 idiot all players do that brian westbrook wasn't even the first one

  • @PrimaryWPN106 no he didn't, his coaches told him to. besides MJD is 100x better lol.

  • ....When will the south learn sarcasm

  • MJD was actually on my opponent's fantasy team that week and the knee actually helped me win that week. My fantasy team was averaging 115 points a game but had a down week and scored 90. Before anyone comments, yes, playing fantasy sports classifies me as a nerd, however, ask anyone it heightens the interest of every game being played.

  • @michaelmaccrazy How does that make you a nerd? Most NFL players play fantasy football... Do you think they're nerds?

  • @richig761 Just keeping myself humbled and I am very aware that basically everyone and their mother does it now. I was saying that because that was my viewpoint on people who played before I joined the party two years ago.

  • maybe mjd had the jets defense on his fantasy team

  • @diddyjungal He actually said in a later interview, that he lost his own fantasy game because of that kneel down.

  • Ok, its been said twice and ill say it again. there are some real dumbasses replying to notoriouschio's comment!

  • Westbrook poser lmao.... Jk

  • Looks like the waterboy just needed some water.

Wow Dan, did you figure that out all by yourself?

    Shut up Brent!

  • lmao fuck da jaguars PHILLY BABY!!!!!!!!!!

  • @prettyboyalldayadigg fuck philly jags all the way this year

  • @5020maine fuck jags man they barely can beat the fuckn texans

  • i lost that week in fantasy because of that play....

  • thats very smart on Maurice Jones-Drew's part no sarcasm!

  • Smart play by MJD right there...and I've seen it before...go down at the 1 and run out the clock instead of scoring and giving the other team a chance.

  • This was the best play of the game. I remember he had an early long TD run also. Our defense wasn't stopping anything in the second half. This made sure we walked out a winner. MJD is a team player and plays the game the right way.

  • I just love that kind of football.

  • Mojo all day!

  • good smart intelligent choice......i'd go for the td :$

  • Shit wasn't Brilliant, unless you can guarantee the points needed to win. a FG to win is an easy call, but but being up 6 with 1 minute wins a lot of games too.

  • @skeetajohnson yeah well i wouldnt trust the jacksonville defense either against the jets offense with 1 minute and 45 seconds left. It was a smart play by maurice Jones-Drew because they can get a easy fieldgoal while running all the time off the clock! so they get a almost guarnteed win instead of relying on their D to make a stop.

that comment just shows how stupid you are... or you just had Maurice Jones-Drew on your fantasy football team

  • @skeetajohnson Yes, but you have a much better chance of kicking a FG shorter than an extra point. Than you do of holding a team with roughly two minutes on the clock. MJD put his team in the best position to win. If you disagree, you probably just don't know football.

  • That's smart!

  • Who owns him: you or the team? Fantasy football is a joke!

  • He's a football players first. So, respect that.

  • if they missed the field goal i'm guessing the reaction would have been a little different

  • who won that game.???

  • @bigjamien1 Jags on a FG as time ran out.

  • @vcorruptc yea i remember him apologizing about it haha

  • haha what if they didnt score after that? would it have been smart then america??

  • @MultiRetnuh Chance of missing field goal is about 5%. Chance of Jets winning by scoring touchdown in last 1:45 is about 15%. I would say his play was smart. It's not like he could know in advance if the kicker is going to miss, so how could you possibly say he made the wrong decision based on the result of a future play? (BTW, stats are based on historical records of other games. Even adjusting for specific teams, I'll bet the FG option is still best.)

  • Anyone who cares that much about fantasy football has no life.

  • holy crap how fucking dumb do you have to be to not understand the obvious sarcasm in @notoriouschio 's comment?

  • Comment removed

  • To all you dumbfucks the highest rated comment is sarcasm...jesus christ

  • imagine if he missed the field goal

  • not sure they would had called it smart if jags missed the go ahead field goal

  • the thing is, his team isn't winning. He should have scored the touchdown

  • @boots8709 your retarted hes on the one yard line wit the clock running, they can get the easy score, while letting the clock run dumbass

  • @rockandrape how much football have you watched? You see it all the time where a field goal kicker slips, botched snap. I'd rather him take the points

  • @boots8709 ive watched more football then you have, how many times does a kicker miss from that close? even if he scores the other team has time to come back down and put on some more points, if he doesnt theyve got 4 downs to work with

  • @rockandrape How do you know how much football I have watched? Anything can happen in football. Take the points and don't leave the it up to chance. Garrett Hartley missed an extra point in week 1. It happens. Hes just lucky they made the field goal

  • @boots8709 the point is that he is allowing them to run out the clock by taking a knee rather than scoring and having to give the ball up

  • @boots8709 Yeah, but they have a 1 yard td run to do, or even a field goal from 6-10 yards out, that's pretty much a game in the bag bar a huge mistake.

  • @boots8709 and given them the ball back with so much clock??? No way; this was a SMART move by the coaching staff. See Boston College hail mary 1984 for reference... Flutie told the coach to let Miami score so he could have more time to work with... look how that turned out... watch?v=r-qkpsygNYo

  • i believe brian westbrook did something similar

    great play

  • @ all the fags hating on notoriouschio... ur soo fucking dumb... hahaha nice onee notorious

  • I love all these stupid morons who are replying to @notoriouschio, completely unaware of the obvious sarcasm in his comment.

Holy shit the world is full of stupid fucking people.

  • @VicInNocal thumbs up spamming fag

  • Fucking Sheppard. Heads up play by Revis swatting the ball; too bad it didn't matter because Lito had to fall all over Drew for no damn reason.

  • @koltonkj26 HE WAS JOKING DUMB FUCK

  • hey notoriouschio, WHY he need to think about Fantasy shit? THAT IS HES LIFE!!!! Football is all that give the money and put food in hes table! You never give any money to any football player just playing your dumb fantasy shit dude!

Jones-Drew just give the win for hes team and that is what is important!

(sorry about my bad english, im from Brazil =x) AND I PLAY FANTASY GAMES TOO

  • @sergiotim He was clearly joking, genius

  • @sergiotim dumbass, he was joking

  • aye every one we gonna call maurice jones-drew (maurice {pinball} jones-drew) becouse its liek every tackle he bounces off them like dat^-^

  • @yankeesfan63000 Yes but he cares about his own fantasy team XD

  • jags have no defense, MoJo knew what he was doing.

  • Comment removed

  • then the JETS have time to score u duck ass nigga

  • Nah man. In this situation it's better just to run out the clock than extend the game.

They could score, yeah. But then the other team as a chance to tie the game on the kickoff and any plays following. This way the team doesn't have the opportunity to tie it up.

  • some people here are retarded. He took a knee and the jags won the game, so he clearly knew what he was doing. If he went for the touchdown there is a possibility that the jags would not win. It was clearly the right decision because the jags won. Sure people miss fieldgoals at that area but MJD was confident that his NFL kicker would get it.

  • he kneed because they had enough time to score again or kick and win

  • Larry Fitzgerald should have done that in the Super Bowl when the Steelers allowed him to score to give Big Ben more time for the final drive.

  • Yeah they could have taken a lot more time off the clock

  • @dramzv yup I always thought that to. I also though if the cardinals had down a bunch of smaller passes they would have won that game. Instead they score immediately, put their defense on the field and the rest is history.

  • @dramzv They didnt allow him to score he just beat there D.

  • @dramzv why? The Cardinals were losing 20-16 at that point. if he didnt score, we would have lost 20-16, comment did not make sense at all.

  • @wiiman0001 if he downed the ball at the 1 then the clock would have kept running...then once you get the clock down low enough you run it in....make sense

  • @peevymo No. You down the ball at the one, so the clock keeps running, then you let the clock run out. Even if you scored at there is just 1 second left on the clock. The clock doesn't run when the xp (extra point) is kicked, nor does it run UNTIL the kick returner physically touches the ball, then once he does that, the clock starts again. Even if there is 1 second on the clock when the kick returner touches the ball, who is to say he pulls a DeSean Jackson last week against the Giants.

  • @wiiman0001 but the steelers didnt have a desean jackson on their team....and even if they did they would just squib kick the ball....game over

  • @peevymo They didn't want anyone to have the slightest chance even if there was a .001% chance they would run it back for a TD, they didn't want that, because in sports, anything can happen. They wanted to make sure they could not possibly get the ball back whatsoever.

  • @dramzv No. They needed a touchdown to win. In this situation, the Jags only needed a FG.

  • selfish move. all he thinks about is his team winning dumb football games. did he ever stop to consider all the fantasy owners who drafted him.

  • I don't know why anyone gave this comment a "thumbs down," I found it funny as hell.

  • wow go fuck yourself

  • easy there mr. clean it was just a joke

  • he took knee so the jags cud run da clock down cause the jets wanted them to score so the jets could just go out and score on their possesion

  • YOUR DUMB

  • @notoriouschio

lol he gets paid to win real games...not fantasy games..u faggot

  • @GreenIce221 wow i 100% agree i hate fantasy, cuz it is exactly what it spells, its fantasy. mjd took 1 4 tha team baby.

  • @notoriouschio lol if its about his team its not selfish.you stupid bitch lol

  • @lu765 you are so fail at sarcasm

  • @notoriouschio how was dat selfish he thought about the big picture nd wanted 2 win the game so he passed up on the td and became a team player 4 doing dat ya dumb fuck

  • @x2kool2rulex he was joking fucking retard

  • @notoriouschio hahahahahahaha no nfl player thinks about the fantasy football stats

  • @notoriouschio Not selfish what so ever! He is thinking of his team, hes trying to keep the clock running so the jets dont get the ball back with time to score! Learn the game my friend

  • @stayflyryry idiot

  • @stayflyryry i believe that was sarcasm...my friend

  • @notoriouschio how is that selfish the reason these athletes play is to win. All he was and should be thinking about is to win

  • @blazinspeed23 so stupid hahaha

  • @notoriouschio im pretty sure he was not thnkin about a stupid fantasy team. i mean who doesnt wnt to win

  • @6heatjames You fail. I guess you don't know the meaning of sarcasm.

  • @notoriouschio u are stupid. you have to win games if you want to go to the super bowl. he isnt gonna risk that for some fantasy crap that doesnt matter.

  • @kidcrazy5 I agree. You don't lose games just to make fantasy people happy.

  • @kidcrazy5 he was being sarcastic.

  • Comment removed

  • @notoriouschio LMFAO

  • @notoriouschio thats wat its about.

  • @notoriouschio BEING PAID MILLIONS TO WIN AN UR WORRYING BOUT A FANTASY TEAM

  • @notoriouschio lolll he did apologize after the game to his fantasy owners

  • @MRchristhebest55 youre 6'5 220 online, but probably 5'6 150 in person. theres no way you'd say that to someone in person, so don't say it online. punk bitch.

  • @td31g u gettin mad nerd haha i bully nerds just like u in real life look me up leo rivers u geek

  • @MRchristhebest55 nah i'm not mad. i just don't get why people like you act hard on the keyboard.

  • @td31g well i act hard on the keyboard cuz bruh i can do it in real life ok

  • @MRchristhebest55 haha yeah okay.

  • @MRchristhebest55 you're a dumb cunt, you ever had a girl touch you other than ur mom?

  • @MRchristhebest55 WOW! You bully people! OH MY GOD! You're so tough and cool! Fucking loser.

  • @MRchristhebest55 notorious was using something called "sarcasm." Go look it up if you've never heard of it.

  • @notoriouschio are you serious about that statement?

  • @notoriouschio you crack me up man!!! love it !!!

  • Also I love how the announcers are praising him like he's Jesus...lol!

  • Now I understand that this is a classy play and Jones-Drew is a great leader, but in all honesty I believe he should have taken the points.

Think about it-- snaps can be muffed, field goals can be missed or blocked, hey, he coulda blown his knee out by falling on it funny! I know they're longshots, but remember what happended to Romo in the playoffs?

Like I said. Take the points. If their D blows it and lets the Jets score, than that's their problem.

In my opionion, classy but dumb.

  • The coaching staff told him to do it though, he was doing in on their instructions.

  • Yeah... I guess you're right...but if that really happened, why aren't we kissing the coach's feet instead of Jones-Drew's?

And for the record, I'm an Eagles fan, so I'm about as unbiased as you could get here...but I do like JD, he's a good player. Reminds me of Westbrook...

  • Well...It's probably because these are the same coaches that gave MJD only 7 carries when he ran for 177 yards against the Titans; but hey, I'm not the one praising him, I'm just saying that he was taking a knee on the coaches' orders.

  • Cause the coach doesnt tell him what to do during the play...he calls the play..

  • @goflyers48 Sure, snaps can be muffed, etc.---but defenses can screw up too. Which is more likely? Ask yourself: if your team had to either face a game-winning chip shot by the other team on the last play, or the chance to drive the field in 1:45 for the win, which would you hope for? Smart decision by the coaching staff.

  • that sucks for everyone that plays fantasy football

  • ya tell me about it. would have won t his week if he would have scored that dang touchdown

  • @megaboston1 - especially for him; he cost his own fantasy team the game by not scoring that touchdown

  • lets go jacksonville YA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
