1) Use a magnet to keep the two big metal ballbearings in the 'open' position, but this would require the smaller ones NOT to be magnetic,.,
2) Maybe the channels that the big balls are in can vary in depth, depending on how you hold the box... Maybe holding this so the 'clear' front is facing the ground!
