If you don't mind the extra weight you're going to have to carry around you can actually equip your bow in the left hand, when equipping it hit the left hand attack button once, then use the bow as usual. Only few people seem to know this. But that way you could have your pyromancy flame and a bow at the ready at all times.

What i'm trying to say is that is alot of games allow you to replay the final Mission/Quest/Task at hand to see the other various endings, such as in Saints Row: The Third for example, where you can replay the final mission of the game.

I didn't imply that you should beat the game for a second time, why should you? Why should anyone? I was just wondering if there is that option in this game? Guess not though.

Instead of leveling your endurance, get a shield with higher stability. Eagle Shield (from Blighttown) is one of the best. Only fault with it is that you can't parry... But you're not really doing that anyway.

The 160 extra points of lightning damage really make a difference with that spear. I think that fire does more overall damage though. Making a +10 Spear into a +10 fire spear would net you a total of +4 extra raw damage (+5 (max) Lightning Spear is 220/224 and +10 Fire Spear is 224/224)

dark soul is a terrible game there is no difficulty that you can choose plus the attacks are really slow even you can't make a fast reaction when a zombie is about to attack you i give it 1/10 it was terrible

@legendcaptainsparky its not about spamming your attacks it's about making the attacks you do get off count as much as possible, and just wearing enemies down. like ryan said you have to plan fights and use strategy you can't run into a group of 5 groups swinging wild.

The hard way for going through the beginning of Anor Londo is to just sprint through everything. I do it all the time when I get summoned as a phantom, since normally the host takes it very slow

@deathnotehell1 Skeletons don't respawn when you kill them with divine weapons. Really only applicable in The Catacombs, but it's VERY applicable in The Catacombs.

@Northernlion Divine weapons fully upgraded have more use than just that, considering you're using a faith build. Having a divine weapon for the sole purpose of trying to kill things in the catacombs is very useless.

@Northernlion did you learn this by playing, or look it up, cause when I first played the game, I made the mistake of exiting firelink towards the catacombs and proceeded to bang my head against the wall for close to 2 hours. Figuring it was the games brutal difficulty, I just kept trying learning later I should have gone up towards the undead area.

They're great if you're making a faith build, as damage will scale with faith. A +10 divine great axe does a fantastic amount of damage with high faith, for example.
